As for BL, I think it was FinallyPJ who summed it up perfectly last thread. Much like Dawson's Creek with DJ, LP on OTH was written to become a couple. However, like PJ on DC, BL came naturally because of the actor's chemistry and the subtle but more meaningful moments portrayed on the show.

BL is more natural, realistic. The moments between them inspire us, mirror everyday life, whereas LP's relationship is force-fed and often is portrayed as desperation, and the need to be loved, even if you aren't necessarily in love with the person.

So, while LP may have been destined from Mark's mind, it's going to BL who has a much more profound effect on the show because of the natural realism that the characters bring to screen.

questa ragazza su FF ha pienamente espresso a parole il mio pensiero riguardo a tutta questa situazione e al nuovo sneak peek Haley/Peyton :mha:

It's scenes like these that make me think we really are being thrown bones and we're just helping make this show a success for people who are taking us for a ride ... a ride which will end in a wreck for us... then I watch BL scenes and I stop caring. I really think they are meant to be and whether or not anyone else sees it, I do and their actions prove it so it really doesn't matter what Mark and co think. And anyway, Mark's a guy and he loves Peyton- what does he know right? hehe, sorry, I just had to throw that in there.

But what really bugs me is that they keep referring to the past every chance they get! Ok, he had a crush on her in 8th grade, so what?! I was gonna marry JT and my last name was going to be Timberlake in 8th grade... or was that 6th grade? Seriously, I barely remember it- that was a lifetime ago and that doesn't even count. What does count is his love for her senior year, but guess what? It's not senior year anymore and nor have they been together anytime in the recent past. So much has changed since then- he said I do to another girl for God's sake! If they're going to prove to me that they're still in love with each other and not that they once were, they're going to have to get to know one another again... and maybe start with saying more than an oddly placed Hi or IHY every so often.

With that said, I'm not a hypocrite, so that applies to Brooke as well. The only difference is that our wanting BL together is justified because their actions NOW say so. Me, as well as most BL fan's I've talked with seem to agree that they don't want BL hooking up right away like many LPer's I've "talked" (argued is more like it =)) with want for LP. We want BL to continue getting to know who the other has become and for them to consequently develop feelings for one another. He has loved both Brooke and Peyton in the past but the difference is that he still cares about Brooke today. He still goes to her when he needs support and is the first one their when she needs a shoulder to cry on.

I'm not mad at Haley or anything, I just think that people need to butt out already. She was just being a supportive friend here so that was okay, but all those "they're meant to be" comments throughout the season from everyone were lame. If they're meant to be, they'll find their way to one another in the end right, so the characters need to stop putting in their 2 cents- that's out job!

Oh, and the he-might-be-too-scared-to-say-what-he-feels-so-he's-writing-it comment? Please! He might have been that way when he was in 8th grade and a complete outsider with a crush on miss popular's bff but now he's 22, the head honcho of the group it seems, and the girl he's "in love with" has been practically throwing herself at him for the past how many months now? And he's supposed to be SCARED to tell her how he feels? What does he have to be scared about? He wont get rejected and his friends probably wont be like "told you so, you shouldn't have wasted your time with Lindsay" because they'll be too busy rejoicing. They'll probably throw LP a party... at Brooke's house. Yea, he's SCARED! :eye roll:

And I'm not even sure where the Brooke-not-making-a-good-mother-if-she-works comment came from but that's ridiculous! So, what, Haley's a bad mother too? Because I'm pretty sure that other than the summers she's had off, she's also been working or going to school. That doesn't change that she's great with Jamie. And more importantly, my mom has worked all my life and she is the BEST mother ever! I love her to death and I don't doubt she feels the same way about me. We are super close and I wouldn't change a thing. Brooke doesn't need to give up her dreams in order to love someone. Victoria probably spent a lot of Brooke's life just chilling and not doing anything important in the world, and she sure as h*ll isn't a good mother. So like I said, ridiculous!

La 6x01 dovrebbe essere tutta un lungo sogno di Lucas attraverso il quale il ragazzo capirà finalmente chi ama veramente. L'episodio sarà diviso in tre parti principali dove Lucas sognerà la sua vita se avesse scelto o Peyton o Brooke (ci sono foto dei due che si baciano con un anello al dito mentre lui le porge delle rose, quindi da sposati) o Lindsey (che ricordo entrerà in "Law & Order" come personaggio fisso, quindi non apparirà in più di uno-due episodi). Alla fine di questo sogno, Lucas si trova ad un tavolo di gioco e gli viene chiesto di scegliere una delle tre carte di fronte a lui (sul dorso di ognuna della quali c'è il viso di Lindsey-Peyton-Brooke), e a quel punto, si sveglia e si trova all'aeroporto e chiama Peyton (stessa scena finale della 5x18); Peyton dovrebbe raggiungerlo all'aeroporto e dovrebbero scambiarsi uno "spin kiss" (un bacio abbracciati volteggiando intorno). Nessuno degli altri personaggi dovrebbe comparire e la premiere dovrebbe essere tutta incentrata sulla scelta di Lucas.
