Ritorniamo nuovamente a parlare del tanto sconvolgente Season Finale della terza Stagione. Ricordiamo che Burke è andato via mentre T.R. Knight non ha superato l'esame e vorrebbe ritirarsi. Adesso ci RI-chiediamo che fine faranno questi due attori. Dalle ultime dichiarazioni di T.R. sappiamo che l'attore saprà la risposta soltanto fra un mese e mezzo mentre addirittura Ausiello ci anticipa che lo vedremo sicuramente. La stessa cosa non si può dire per Isaiah Washigton che invece non ha ancora firmato il contratto... Che la produzione l'abbia fatto fuori? Chissà...

La nuova arrivata che ha cercato di "rimorchiarlo" al bar di Joe non è l'unica donna che sarà presente nella quarta stagione: si vocifera infatti che anche Tiffany Thiessen dovrebbe entrare a far parte del cast. 05/22 - Ho sentito adesso da varie fonti che Isaiah (Burke) ha partecipato a delle riunioni a New York e Los Angeles in cerca di un nuovo lavoro che dovrebbe ottenere nella prossima stagione televisiva, così appare chiaro che i giorni di Isaiah a Grey's sono finiti. Fonti interne alla ABC mi hanno detto che "non tutti torneranno" a Grey's Anatomy la prossima stagione, e anche se il destino di T.R. Knight (George) è stato lasciato sul filo di un rasoio alla fine della terza stagione, ho sentito che lui tornerà ma come ho detto, Isaiah sembrerebbe essere colui che andrà via. Isaiah Washigton: Us Weekly ci conferma che l'attore non tornerà la stagione prossima come regular ma probabilmente apparirà solo per pochi episodi. Il motivo principale è purtroppo la grande bufera che ha creato durante l'autunno-inverno 2006/2007 e inoltre lo stesso magazines ci conferma che il cast femmine non prova molta simpatia nei suoi confronti.

Ausiello dal suo blog smentisce categoricamente che T. R. Knight lascerà il cast la prossima stagione, anzi. Il giovane attore riceverà 125.000 dollari a stagione e in più alcuni profitti del telefilm stesso. E' molto più incerta, invece, la sorte di Isaiah Washington: il suo futuro professionale verrà deciso nelle prossime settimane. Per quanto riguarda il gruppo di nuovi specializzandi visti nel season finale, Ausiello specifica che solo uno di questi resterà nel cast: non è difficile immaginare che si tratti della sorella di Meredith, Lexie.

Shonda Rhimes ha fatto un nuovo "acquisto": Jill Soloway (http://www.jillsoloway.com/bio.htm). La famosa autrice di "Six Feet Under" scriverà per Shonda almeno 13 episodi della Quarta Stagione, dato che però l'autrice è impegnata anche con JJ Abrams con una nuova comedy, se questa nuova comedy andrà bene si dedicherà soltanto a questo progetto. Viceversa se la serie andrà male, Jill potrebbe scrivere anche qualche episodio di una ipotetica quinta stagione di Grey's Anatomy.

E' ufficiale: il network americano avrebbe rifiutato di accettare le opzioni per il nuovo contratto proposte dallo stesso Isaiah Washington. Il suo agente, Howard Bragman, ha confermato la notizia aggiungendo che Isaiah è stato avvisato dalla stessa Shonda Rhimes dell'avvenuto licenziamento notizia che, secondo una dichiarazione ai media di Washington, lo avrebbe fatto infuriare parecchio. In un'intervista in radio, Ellen Pompeo ammette di non aver mai sospettato che il network volesse licenziare Washington né tanto meno di essere stata informata anzitempo della decisione presa dagli alti vertici. Preferisce non commentare e giudica abbastanza giusta la decisione dei produttori dello show di tenere tutti all'oscuro della loro decisione. E' arrivata per ultima la lettera destinata a Katherine Heigl che conferma ufficialmente la sua presenza nella quarta serie. Sono passati qualche giorno ormai dalla notizia (buona o cattiva? è relativo) del licenziamento di una della star di Grey's Anatomy quale Isaiah Washigton (Burke) e adesso: produttori, channel e creatrice... cercano già un suo "rimpiazzo". Precisamente un uomo che interpreterà i un cardiochriurgo ma nn è tutto... infatti si cerca anche un nuovo attore che riesca a comptere con McDreamy!



La ABC sarebbe davvero irritata dalle affermazioni fatte dall'agente di Isaiah Washington, Howard Bragman, riguardo il fatto che nonostante tutto ciò che l'attore ha fatto per rimanere nel cast sia stato ugualmente licenziato. Qualcuno all'interno del network ha sottolineato come, stranamente, Isaiah abbia chiesto scusa e si sia impegnato a promuovere le campagne delle associazioni n difesa dei diritti dei Gay e delle Lesbiche ma senza, effettivamente, cercare di cambiare il suo atteggiamento irascibile. Le scuse pubbliche e la riabilitazione sono, pertanto, rimaste uno sterile contenitore per salvare le apparenze. Il fatto che sia stato licenziato solo a fine stagione e non subito dopo il "fattaccio" riguarda delle motivazioni prettamente contrattuali: si sarebbe incorsi in problemi di tipo legali e creativi. La cosa più semplice era quella di lasciarlo andare alla fine della stagione ovvero allo scadere del contratto. Ed è quello che alla fine è successo. Cio' che non è chiaro è quando esattamente è stata presa questa decisione. Alcuni dicono che sia stato deciso tutto a febbraio, altri dicono che sia stata una decisione dell'ultimo mese. Solo poche persone sapevano ciò che sarebbe successo e sfortunatamente una di queste è conosciuta con il soprannome di "information nazi".



Intervista di Isaiah a People: Ho fatto tutto quello che mi è stato chiesto di fare. Ho lavorato sotto stress e in continua tensione. Shonda mi ha chiamato giovedì scorso per dirmi che non avrei fatto parte del cast la prossima stagione così come mi ha chiamato per dirmi che ero stato scelto per la parte. Non ho sentito nessuno dei miei colleghi eccetto Chandra Wilson e Kate Walsh: gli altri sono ancora quasi tutti in vacanza a fare le loro cose. Non so se io e T.R. siamo in buoni rapporti: dovreste chiederlo a lui. Se Shonda mi chiamasse anche solo per un cameo la prossima stagione, credo non esiterei ad accettare. Ma credo davvero che non succederà. Posso solo continuare a chiedere scusa per quanto è successo. (Riguardo ciò che questo potrebbe comportare sulla sua carriera) Tutte le persone coinvolte hanno gestito la cosa con la dovuta discrezione. Poi i media hanno stravolto tutto portando le cose in un'altra direzione. Tutti pronti i contratti di Grey's Anatomy infatti hanno firmato tutti gli attori incluso Sara Ramirez ovvero Callie(precendentemente era stato riferito che avrebbe lasciato il Serial), smentite invece i "rumors" riguardo la presenza di Tiffani Thiessen (ex star di Beverly Hills) che avrebbe dovuto interpretare la sorella di Derek.

Continuano le dichiarazioni di Isaiah Washington riguardo il suo licenziamento dal tv show più amato d'America. L'attore, in un'intervista rilasciata al Houston Chronicle, avrebbe dichiarato che la ABC ha licenziato la persona sbagliata. Secondo Washington, TR Knight avrebbe gonfiato la storia dell'insulto solo per avere più visibilità e per ottenere un contratto più remunerativo. Inoltre, Washington continua a considerare l'idea di fare causa alla ABC considerato che questa faccenda ha seriamente minato il suo onore e la sua dignità di uomo. "Il mio errore è stato quello di credere che fossimo una grande famiglia dove si potesse parlare e risolvere i problemi e soprattutto credere che la ABC avrebbe curato i miei interessi". L'unico che potrebbe chiarire una volta per tutte la situazione sarebbe il solo testimone del litigio: Patrick Dempsey.

La Abc ha finalmente annunciato le date di inizio trasmissioni di tutti i telefilm! Grey's Anatomy inzierà a fine Settembre precisamente il 27 Settembre 2007 ogni giovedì alle ore 9 p.m. - 10.00 pm. Private Parctice invece inzierà il giorno prima Mercoledì 26 Settembre alle ore 9-10 pm.

Comunque c'è la trama del primo episodio..

Al loro primo anno da dottori a tutti gli effetti Grey, Karev, Yang e Stevens dovranno occuparsi loro stessi dei nuovi specializzandi tra i quali ci saranno George (che ha fallito l'esame) e Lexie, la sorellastra di Meredith. I "nuovi" dottori avranno un nuovo supervisore che altri non è che Callie Torres. Ma con grande sorpresa, i giovani non riescono ad adattarsi al nuovo capo che sostituisce la Bailey. La difficoltà sta soprattutto nel fatto che Callie è la moglie di George. La Bailey, risentita verso Webber che non l'ha scelta come Chief of Residents, dovrà quindi farsi strada in questa nuova gerarchia. Nel frattempo, Webber riprende il suo posto di Primario di Chirurgia cercando di conciliare il lavoro con l'unione ritrovata con Adele. Cristina torna in ospedale dopo due settimane dal giorno del matrimonio durante le quali è stata in luna di miele insieme a Meredith che a sua volta aveva bisogno di allontanarsi da Seattle per sfuggire alla situazione di impasse creatasi con Derek. Per dimenticare, Cristina si butterà a capofitto nel lavoro. Mark vorrebbe essere di nuovo amico di Derek il quale ha davvero bisogno di una persona accanto dopo il trasferimento di Addison, le dimissioni di Burke e la situazione disastrosa con Meredith. I dottori hanno sempre a che fare con situazioni di morte o di vita e trovano conforto, amicizia e a volte amore l'uno nell'altro. Ma soprattutto imparano che la vita non è fatta solo di bianco o nero ma anche di sfumature di grigio.

Secondo Kristin di E!online, data l'uscita di scena di Isaiah Washigton e Kate Walsh i produttori sono alla ricerca di nuovi personaggi per ripopolare il Seattle Grace. Tra questi nuovi personaggi, ci sarà sicuramente una nuova coppia che vedremo nella Season Premiere della quarta stagione e che sono molto amici con la sorella minore di Meredith. Inoltre, visto che il Gizzie non è piaciuto al 95% degli spettatori, pare ormai certo che verrà accantonato! Enjoy!!

Ausiello: Well, they're not officially dead, but it's not looking good for the embattled lovebirds after they got eviscerated in a recent focus group. A source close to ABC tells me that George and Izzie polled 95 percent negative, leading one of the 200 or so participants to conclude that, "Gizzie will be dropped." (I hereby take back all the bad stuff I've ever said about focus groups. I love focus groups. Focus groups are awesome.)

Titolo seconda puntata e nuovi personaggi..

Shonda e la Abc ci avevano avvisato: Seattle deve essere ripopolata! Ebbene si, dopo l'uscita di scenda di due personaggi chiave continuano le new-entries per il telefilm più visto del pianeta. Novità infatti riguardo un personaggio sulla sessantina, sarà un medico e sarà riccorrentre per tutta (o quasi) la stagione! Novità inoltre per il secondo titolo della stagione: 4x02 "Love/Robins"!
All'inzio si diceva ci fossero solo 14 episodi invece..

Sono stati comunicati il numero degli episodi che andranno in onda la prossima stagione sia per Grey's Anatomy che per Private Practice. Grey's per ora avrà 23 episodi, ma se replica il successo dello scorso anno ci sarà probabilmente un aumento (oppure no, dipende!). Per quanto riguarda Private Practice avrà invece soltanto 13 episodi, ma attenzione, se la serie avrà successo ci sarà sicuramente un aumento a 22 episodi. Che dire... Incrociamo le dita!!!

C'è chi va e c'è chi viene...
Per un dottore che se ne va... ritorna un veterinario! Ebbene sì: sono sempre più insistenti le voci su un probabile ritorno di Finn Dandridge alias McVet interpretato da Chris O'donnell. La notizia non è certa ma dalle ultime dichiarazioni di Chris che ha elogiato il cast e la crew di Grey's per lo strepitoso successo, una proposta per un eventuale -seppur breve- ritorno non gli dispiacerebbe affatto. Adesso tocca a Shonda la mossa successiva!
Edward herrmann a Grey's..

L'attore Edward Herrmann, noto ai più per il ruolo di Richard Gilmore in "Gilmore Girls" (Una mamma per amica), ha firmato per girare più di un episodio nella prossima stagione di Grey's Anatomy. Come al solito vige gran segreto sul ruolo che l'attore interpreterà ma pare proprio che sarà un dottore e prenderà parte ad almeno tre episodi della serie.
Shonda parla dei gizzie

Quanto al Gizzie, forse è stato un errore o forse no. Le persone fanno errori, prendono delle decisioni giuste o sbagliate che siano. Forse né George né Izzie erano pronti a questo inatteso risvolto, così come la stessa Shonda manifesta una certa strana reazione al Gizzie che la accomuna a tutti quei fans che non si aspettavano questo cambio di rotta nella storia. Nel momento in cui Meredith e Alex scopriranno il Gizzie, anche loro avranno una forte reazione. Probabilmente George e Izzie non saranno la storia d'amore più bella del secolo, ma comunque resta il fatto che vale la pena di esplorare tutti i sentimenti, anche quando scopri che la tua anima gemella potrebbe essere il tuo migliore amico.

Più che una new entries è una guest star, il pluripremiato attore Ben Verren premderà parte ad un episodio di Grey's Anatomy esattamente l'episodio 4x02 Love /Robins che andrà in onda il 4 Ottobre 2007. L'attore sarà un paziente che avrà un ustione... Ben Verren è noto soprattutto come attore di broadway grazie ai tanti musical a cui ha preso parte. Il suo debutto è stato in "Jesus Christ Superstar", non ha perso tempo nemmeno in tv dove ha ricevuto anche diverse nomination, anche agli emmy! Confermato inoltre la presenza di "Nonno Gilmore" ovvero Edward Hermann che farà parte della serie per almeno tre episodi
Il ritorno di Ava..

Ausiello ha ben ufficializzato che la bellissima attrice Elizabeth Reaser ritornerà durante la quarta stagione nel ruolo di Ava, colei che aveva, durante la terza stagione, fatto perdere la testa ad Alex. Per quanto riguarda il numero degli episodi, la produzione ci sta ancora lavorando ma secondo una spia di Ausiello ci sarà per almeno un episodio. Novità anche per il Gizzie che verrà chiarito già nella Season Premiere, infatti sia George che Izzie saranno entrambi occupati con un inusuale paziente: un cervo!

A woman named Ruthie comes to the ER because of an injured foot. The doctor learns that Ruthie has been on an extreme regime and training in order to lose 40 pounds. Ruthie and her fiancé Will admit that they agreed to get married when Ruthie lost 40 pounds. In exchange for the sacrifice, Will would quit smoking. The doctor tells the couple that, besides the foot injury, Ruthie has two other fractures. In order for the repairs to hold and recovery to be faster, she will need to eat. After vomiting, she is brought in surgery. Later, the doctor finds Will smoking. He says that Ruthie will forgive him. Thing is, Ruthie died because her body was too weak. Eccoli! Si sanno i nomi e qualcosa in più di loro, i nuovi specializzandi saranno: Mitch (Richard Keith), Leo (Winston Story), Claire (Tymberlee Chanel) e Graciella (Gloria Garayua). Non saranno gli stessi visti nel season finale stagione 3 e non si sa se si rivedranno quegli attori durante la quarta stagione. Ciò che si vocifera è che una di loro proverà a dividere Meredith da Cristina (NB: Traduzione suscettibile a variazione) e avrà un'avventura con un dottore che potrebbe essere Mark Sloan visto che la passata stagione non ha avuto una grossa storyline!

4x05: Halloween (?) Ryan e Alie sono due personaggi che vedremo nell'episodio 5.
Ryan è a colloquio col Dr. Sloan e il Dr Shepherd. Mark dice Derek che un ragazzo parzialmente sordo lo sta cercando.


Ryan compare alle spalle del Dr. Sloan e si rivolge al Dr. Shepherd chiamandolo "Papà". In realtà il Dr. Sloan ha inscenato uno scherzo al collega: infatti alla reazione stranita di Derek tira fuori una banconota per pagare il ragazzo e si complimenta per l'ottima recitazione.
Ryan dice a Derek che vuole che lui gli curi le orecchie e gli faccia riacquistare l'udito.

Derek è nella sala conferenze con Ryan quando la Dr.ssa Stevens sopraggiunge.
Ryan confesserà a Derek che la Dr.ssa Stevens l'ha aiutata a trovarlo. Ryan dice che sua madre lavora in una caffetteria e che possono cercarla lì, se ne hanno bisogno. La Dr.ssa Stevens nota delle bollette e delle lettere
autografe sul tavolo e Derek le dice che quelle sono state tutte indirizzate a lui. Uno dei compagni di classe di Ryan, infatti,
ha scritto un sacco di lettere al Dr. Shepherd per chiedergli di aiutare l'amico a guarire. Ryan ha letto su internet di altri precedenti interventi del Dr. Shepherd.
riguardanti l'impianto di apparecchi acustici nelle orecchie: ciò lo aiuterebbe a sentire meglio e ad essere più figo.
Inoltre dice che presentandosi con i pochi spiccioli che ha è sicuro di muovere a pietà Derek e farsi operare gratuitamente.
Derek è titubante, ma Ryan insiste: parecchie volte è stato quasi investito da auto in corsa proprio a causa della sua sordità.
Derek spiega i motivi per cui non può operarlo gratuitamente ma Izzie si commuove davanti alla delusione del ragazzo e dice che farà lei in modo che questo accada.

Alie è la madre di Ryan. Sembra che lui non abbia detto a nessuno dove stesse andando e soprattutto per andare ad incontrare chi.
La madre di Ryan non lavora in una caffetteria.

Il Dr Sloan si avvicina a Meredith e la saluta. La dottoressa gli intima di non sorridergli. L'infermiera Jolene sopraggiunge e intima anche lei al dottore di non sorridere né alla dottoressa né a lei. Mark è confuso: ora sa che le due donne si sono confrontate e si sono rese conto che lui usa la stessa tattica con entrambe. Mark si scusa e le due lo informano che non sono le sole ad avere notato questa cosa e che stanno formando un club.

James è un uomo di affari di 40 anni circa. Chiede alla Dr.ssa Yang di rimuovergli l'orecchio destro perché non è suo. Quell'orecchio non lo fa dormire. Cerca di far valere le sue ragioni e di non essere scambiato per pazzo. Cristina si rifiuta, lo dimette ma lui cerca di tagliarsi l'orecchio da solo. Webber entra in scena. Discutono su come intervenire sull'orecchio danneggiato. Ma James pretende che non gli venga riattaccato l'orecchio. Al risveglio dall'operazione, James non è felice che l'orecchio destro sia ormai perso e vuole che anche l'altro venga rimosso. Webber dice a Cristina di sedarlo e di chiamare uno psichiatra.


Jack and Erin - Jack è un uomo anziano che necessita di un trapianto di cuore. Sua figlia Erin è adirata col Dr. O'malley che indossa un costume di Halloween (ha le lentiggini disegnate in faccia e la coda da maialino). Il personale dell'ospedale latita, la medicazione di Jack dev'essere ancora fatta, non c'è acqua e il telecomando del tv è rotto. Erin sottolinea il fatto che nel suo stato l'uomo non puo' fare determiante cose da solo. Jack cerca di far calmare sua figlia ma lei dice che non è plausibile che i dottori abbiano tempo per provare i costumi di Halloween e non per curare i pazienti. Interviene Derek e George è grato.Piu' tardi Erin viene ferita durante uno scherzo di Halloween: un mattone la colpisce in testa. Ora è cerebralmente morta. Erin è una donatrice. La Bailey porta Jack al capezzale di sua figlia mentre le fa altre analisi. Jack accetta di firmare i documenti per la donazione degli organi della figlia.

Il ragazzo senza dito - Il paziente genio dell'episodio. Nel tagliare una zucca con uan sega, si sega il dito.
Voleva fare bella figura e vincere: ad uncerto punto però si è tagliato e allora la zucca si è tutta sporcata di sangue facendo sì che sembrasse addirittura tutto più entusiasmante. Arriva in ospedale con sega e dito, ma il dito non si può ricucire perché il taglio non è netto.
Ma James sembra essere interessato solo ad avere la sua sega indietro. (Forse James l'ha usata per tagliarsi l'orecchio?)



Episodio 4x06 - (?)
Jackie, Helena, Jason, Mike, e il giudice di un concorso: Le due donne stanno litigando mentre i paramedici le portano fuori dall'ambulanza sulla stessa barella. Jackie ha una spalla slogata e una gamba rotta mentre Helena ha il naso rotto, dei tagli e un pezzo di scalpo mancante. Sembra che le due stessero partecipando ad un concorso per vincere la casa dei loro sogni e chi sarebbe riuscito ad afferrare le chiavi per primo, avrebbe vinto. Il Dr. Martin ammonisce le due donne e dice loro di pensare a cose più importanti adesso e di lasciar perdere le chiavi. Ma le donne continuano a litigare. Alla fine il Dr. Brown ha un'idea. Dr Kale (che dovrebbe essere George) cercherà di aiutare il Dr Martin (forse Callie?) a mettere a posto la spalla di Jackie. Ma da un esame approfondito, il Dr Martin si rende conto che la situazione è molto più grave di quanto pensasse e che c'è bisogno di intervenire chirurgicamente. Jackie rifiuta l'operazione all'inizio.

George parla ad Helena. Lei dice che sa che lui pensa che sia pazza, ma che non ha scelta. George le dice che invece ce l'ha, deve solo lasciare perdere. Helena gli spiega la sua situazione: sua madre ha fatto di tutto per aiutarla a sistemarsi dopo che si è fidanzata. Sua madre è una donna dai mezzi modesti e Helena sa che andrebbe pure in bancarotta pur di assicurare alla figlia la vita che lei non ha avuto. George rispetta questa cosa. Più tardi, si saprà che helena aveva bisogno di essere operata. Il suo midollo si è lesionato e ha bisogno di un intervento urgente. Inoltre, George lascia la chiave e Helena vince la casa.

Nota: il giudice è istreico e chiede ai dottori di medicarlo.

Mr. Arnold - Un uomo suoi 30 anni, nervoso, si lamenta del fatto che gli manca il respiro e non può fare il richiamo degli uccelli.
E' un avido osservatore di uccelli e ora progetta di andare a vedere un uccello che si pensava estinto ma che si trova in Louisiana.
Ma questo problema del cuore è un ostacolo a questo progetto e lui non è neanche incluso nella lista dei trapianti. La cosa lo devasta, ma per qualche strano motivo lui verrà operato, ma non al cuore, bensì al cervello. L'operazione si svolgerà col paziente cosciente. Mr Arnold, comunque, diventa nervoso e comincia a sbraitare quando si rende conto che ha la testa aperta e tutti vedono il suo cervello. Così interviene un dottore che riesce a calmarlo dicendogli di far finta che le persone che osservano dalla gallery siano solo degli uccelli che lui può osservare a sua volta. La cosa funziona.

Rick and Sally - Sally è l'istruttrice di Rick, gli insegna a scalare le montagne. Rick cade mentre scalano e dovrebbe essere morto. Sally è preoccupata, nervosa per cosa è successo a Rick e gli dice che distruggeranno i nastri della scalata. I dottori guardano i nastri, vedono la caduta, sentono Rick confessare a Sally che la ama mentre sta cadendo. Sally non ha sentito però. Uno dei dottori (forse Meredith) dice a Rick che la chiarezza che sente dentro potrebbe sparire per cui lui deve dire ciò che sente ora che tutto gli è chiaro.

Shonda Rhimes l'ha promesso: basta far tribolare Meredith e Derek! La loro empasse durerà solo l'arco della prima puntata durante la quale la situazione della coppia più amata di Grey's si risolverà nella maniera più bella e inaspettata! Tutti i sospetti che Callie ha saranno confermati e Izzie non riuscirà a lasciar perdere George. La vecchia amicizia tra McDreamy e McSteamy potrebbe rinsaldarsi ora che Addison è andata via. Derek condivide un momento particolare con Lexie non sapendo ancora che è la sorella di Meredith. Ma nel momento in cui scoprirà che le due sono sorelle, farà subito marcia indietro. Ma Lexie, comunque, causerà non pochi problemi alla povera Meredith...

02/10 - I know that casting agents have been in Toronto recently, looking to cast a girl between the ages of 10 and 12 for an arc next season. Now, as much as a great show like Grey's might plan ahead, this seems to be way ahead, if you ask me. 02/10 - So che gli agenti del cast sono stati recentemente a Toronto, per cercare una ragazzina tra i 10 e i 12 anni per un periodo della prossima stagione. 4x07 - "Physical Attraction. Chemical Reaction"
Brian è un bambino di 8 anni che ha ingoiato una moneta. I suoi genitori Don e Jane litigano sempre. Don accusa Jane di essere troppo impegnata con gli acquisti online per occuparsi di suo figlio. Jane accusa Don di essere sempre lontano da casa per lavoro per sapere che cosa lei stia comprando. Don e Jane promettono a Brian di prendergli qualsiasi cosa lui voglia una volta che avranno lasciato l'ospedale. Brian dice che vuole che loro smettano di litigare. Il giorno dopo, Brian torna dopo aver ingoiato circa 8 monete. Soffre molto e la situazione è molto più seria. Il dottore gli chiede per quale motivo ha ingerito le motete e guarda i suoi genitori chiedendo "perchè lo pensi?"
Jane è la madre di Brian ed è seduta al suo capezzale. E' preoccupata per suo figlio e dice al dottore che non sa come lei e suo marito siano arrivati al punto di far del male al loro figlio in questo modo e non prendersi cura di lui. Jane arriva a dire al dottore che non avrebbero mai dovuto sposarsi. C'era stata un'attrazione fisica immediata tra lei e Don ma avrebbero dovuto lasciare che fosse tutto lì. Sebbene abbia provato a lasciare Don, non ci è riuscita perchè è difficile lasciare la persona che desideri più di tutte al mondo.
Harriet deve effettuare degli interventi plastici al viso (probabilmente un lifting facciale). E' ovviamente un caso affidato a Mark. Harriet chiede a Mark se c'è una procedura che può renderla carina come la dottoressa a fianco a lui. Harriet nota che la dottoressa appare preoccupata e le chiede che cosa la preoccupa e le dice che ha bisogno di risolvere il problema, qualsiasi esso sia, ed in fretta. Dopo che l'intervento è stato effettuato, la dottoressa va a verificare le condizioni di Harriet ma lei vuole che la dottoressa se ne vada e smetta di essere imbronciata. Harriet le dice di lasciarla sola e di andare a divertirsi e godersi la vita perchè la sta rendendo più brutta ad ogni minuto che passa. (probabilmente la dottoressa in questione è Meredith o Izzie)
Teresa arriva agitatissima perchè stava portando il suo neonato ed è caduta da alcuni gradini. Il bambino ha battuto la testa sul pavimento ma respira. Il dottore dice che hanno bisogno di un consulto neurologico (quindi Derek controllerà il bambino). Teresa comincia a parlare con il dottore quando collassa a terra e smette di respirare.
Sean è il marito di Teresa e padre del bambino. Derek gli dice che la TAC non mostra niente di serio ma terranno d'occhio il bambino. Sean è preoccupato per Teresa e dice ai dottori (ci sono 2 dottori: Derek e qualcun altro) che ha bisogno di stare con sua moglie e che sa che loro si prenderanno cura del bambino. Più tardi, Sean trova il dottore che si prende cura del bambino a pranzo e si scusa. Il dottore lo rassicura che il bambino sta bene e Sean informa il dottore che Teresa è in cattive condizioni. Lui dice al dottore che lui e sua moglie hanno lavorato duro e combattuto per due anni per mettere da parte il denaro per avere il bambino e hanno potuto gioirne solo per una settimana. Sean è preoccupato che Teresa possa morire e dice al dottore che non potrà allevare il bambino da solo. Lui non è una persona cattiva ed il bambino è veramente una cosa bellissima ma lui non può occuparsene tutto solo ed il bambino si merita una madre.
C'è poi una breve scena con un infermiere del Pronto Soccorso molto divertente: un dottore avanza arrabbiato con alcuni specializzandi alle spalle e lei gli dice che il pronto soccorso è come un negozio di caramelle in cui si può trovare dell'ottima chirurgia. Il dottore chiede all'infermiere del Pronto Soccorso quali sono i pazienti disponibili e l'infermiere dice che hanno solo una caviglia slogata ed una borsite dell'alluce. Allora il dottore risponde che il Pronto Soccorso può anche togliere a qualcuno di loro la voglia di vivere!

Dal Backstage degli Emmy - TVguide è riuscita a scucire dei piccoli spoiler ad Elizabeth Reaser (Ava) e Kate Burton (Ellis Grey), entrambe candidate all'Emmy per la loro interpretazione in Grey's Anatomy.
In particolare, la Burton rivela che il personaggio di Ellis Grey, pur essendo morto nella passata stagione, tornerà sotto forma di flashback (è stata la stessa Shonda a riferirlo all'attrice) e lei ne è entusiasta. Elisabeth Reaser, invece, è restia nel dare anticipazioni perchè teme di avere problemi con la produzione ed è disposta a confermare il ritorno di Ava nella quarta serie solo per un episodio.

Il titolo dell'episodio 4.02 inizialmente "Love/Robins", è stato cambiato in "Love/Addiction"
Inoltre, Michael Ausiello nel suo vodcast ci regala un grande scoop: nella puntata in cui Ava farà il suo ritorno (probabilmente il quarto episodio), lei ed Alex faranno molto più che baciarsi!

Intervista allo specializzando più anziano del mondo - Mr McGilmore è davvero felice di prendere parte al telefilm. Herrmann che ricordiamo dovrebbe apparire per almeno tre episodi della quarta stagione di Grey's Anatomy. Il suo personaggio sarà "il più vecchio specializzando", inoltre lo stesso attore ha dichiarato che il suo personaggio sarebbe dovuto morire dopo tre episodi, ma invece non sarà cosi e probabilmente l'attore sarà presente in più episodi. L'attore ha espresso anche la sua ottima impressione riguardo il cast e soprattutto di Dempsey, infatti quest'ultimo ha invitato Herrmann a colazione e hanno parlato di motori (ad entrambi piace correre). Infine ha anche ammesso che nessuno ha osato parlare di Isaiah Washigton e del suo licenziamento ed ha infine intuito che il cast è davvero felice del licenziamento dell'attore "Isaiah Washigton".

Durante il terzo episodio della quarta stagione George prenderà un importante decisione riguardo il Gizzie dovuto ad un forte scossone del secondo episodio: tutti iniziano a capire della relazione tra George e la sua (ex?) migliore amica (la scoperta ufficiale dovrebbe accadere entro il quarto episodio). Intanto novità anche per Derek che proprio al termine del secondo episodio prenderà un importante decisione attesa dai fan della coppia Mere-Dere. Intanto, Ausiello ci conferma che Cristina non avrà storie d'amore (per il momento) almeno fin quando non dimenticherà la storia con Burke. Trama Episodio 5 - Haunt You Every Day
Callie viene licenziata come residente principale ed inizia a gridare e Cristina la sente. Le due iniziano a parlare di come gli uomini non valgono niente e la Yang gli domandanda dove abita( George è turbato perchè all' Hotel non è sotto il suo nome e crede si sia trasferita nella stanza di Sloan, che si rifiuta di negare). Callie risponde a Cristina che sta in un Hotel scadente perchè lì la madre non la verrebbe mai a cercare( si nasconde dalla madre perchè non ha il corraggio di dirgli che il suo matrimonio è finito). Cristina capendo la situazioni gli dice che la casa di Burke non è grande , ma se vuole ha il sofà libero però gli dice che non sono amiche( le due si guardono sorridendo). Meredith e Cristina sono apertamente contro Izzie( hanno delle reazioni molto dure). L' unico a favore di Izzie è Alex( anche perchè vorrebe la stessa cosa da Ava. Ava è ancora sposata) nonostante che chiami continuamente George "hobbit".
Il nuovo residente principale sarà Sidney mentre la Hann torna per pochi episodi.

Episodio 4.11 - "Lay Your Hands On Me"

La mamma di George arriva in ospedale portando abitini per neonati perchè pensa che George e Callie abbiano problemi ad avere figli, ovviamente si imbatte in Izzie che gli rivela il fatto di aver fatto sesso con George e che lui ha fallito il suo esame. Izzie se ne va dicendo quanto le dispiace, ma la signora O'Malley è veramente sconvolta. La sua famiglia è cattolica e loro non credono nel divorzio, nè tantomeno nell'adulterio.

La Dott.ssa Bailey è talmente impegnata dal suo lavoro in ospedale, da non avere tempo di richiamare suo marito Tucker. Quando riesce a rispondere al telefono, gli dice di non avere tempo per lui perchè ci sono innumerevoli casi al pronto soccorso e Tucker le risponde che anche lui fa parte degli innumerevoli casi del P.S., infatti il piccolo Tuck è stato portato lì perchè gli è caduta addosso una libreria ed ha fratture multiple al torace.

Erica Hahn dice a Mark di non voler avere niente a che fare con lui perchè il solo modo in cui può fare il suo lavoro è tenere la sua vita privata fuori dall'ospedale. Poi se ne va con Callie e Mark chiede ad entrambe se vanno da Joe, così lui può incontrarle. Erica gli risponde "buona notte" e se ne vanno.

Meredith non riesce ancora ad impegnarsi completamente con Derek, ma prova a coinvolgerlo nella sua vita. Lui si sente frustrato perchè la loro relazione non progredisce e chiede a Rose di uscire. Rose capisce dal suo sguardo che lui si sente contrastato, ma non può farci niente ed accetta.

Pare che a causa dello sciopero degli autori, sia saltato lo slot temporale di disponibilità di Joshua Jackson per le riprese di Grey's Anatomy, quindi, a meno che non si riesca a trovare un altro periodo libero dell'attore in coincidenza con le riprese, la sua partecipazione nei prossimi episodi della serie per ora è sfumata. Ausiello: Non uccidermi, ma a me non dispiacciono insieme. A dire il vero è stato bello vedere di nuovo il Derek sexy e che flirta, perché, lo devo dire, il Derek cupo e imbronciato sta diventando una vera noia. Quindi se Rose è la persona che sceglie per attendere il momento opportuno mentre Meredith risolve i suoi notevoli problemi, per me va bene. Probabilmente non è la risposta che cercavi, vero? In ogni caso passeranno alcune settimane prima di vedere qualche mossa seria nel triangolo Rose/Derek/Meredith. Anzi, alcuni mesi. Mi hanno detto che il grande punto di svolta per loro tre arriva alla fine dell'undicesimo episodio, che in origine era in programma per dicembre ma ora è stato rinviato al 2008! (A dicembre le repliche di Grey's riempiranno i palinsesti. Questo sciopero non è eccezionale?) L'episodio 11 è anche l'ultimo episodio prima del vuoto imposto dallo sciopero, quindi questa grande svolta potrebbe essere un grande episodio finale, ricco di suspense. Secondo la mia talpa, la madre di George ritornerà nell’episodio 11 proprio a causa dello sciopero degli autori.Questo probabilmente spiega il perchè George ha avuto così poco da fare durante il doppio episodio "Crash Into Me". Perchè l'hanno eliminato? Beh, secondo la mia spia, quando è diventato chiaro che l'episodio 11 sarebbe potuto essere l'ultimo che avremmo visto per molto tempo, il copione ha subito una "massiccia riscrittura" per accrescere il dramma ed aggiungere alcuni colpi di scena uno dei quali coinvolge la mamma di George. "Ci sono dei colpi di scena abbastanza grossi", dice la fonte, "sostanzialmente, il futuro di ognuno rimane in sospeso". Incluso il triangolo Meredith/Derek/Rose.

Lexie Grey è figlia di Thatcher Grey e della 2 moglie Susan. Ed è la sorella di quella ke aveva avuto il bambino, Molly. Molly accenna a Meredith di sua sorella nella 2 stagione. (quindi sapeva già della sua esistenza.)
La sua vera entrata è stata fatta alla fine della 3 stagione incontrando Derek. Ma Meredith la incontrerà all'inizio della 4 stagione ;)

Una fonte rivela che ci sarà un triangolo tra Meredith, Derek e Rose (ndPatsy: in USA chiamato nientepopoòdimenoche MerDose...). Inoltre George e Izzie potrebbero non tornare insieme fino alla fine di questa stagione, mentre è pianificata una riunione della coppia a metà della prossima stagione. Si dice anche che Mark continuerà a non avere una grande storyline nel corso di questa stagione, ma che si dovrà aspettare la prossima.
Si presume che tutte queste informazioni siano basate sul fatto che lo sciopero degli autori finirà e ci sarà qualche altro episodio della quarta serie, altrimenti ... sono da buttare!!!

Grey's finally gives Cristina a storyline. Grey's Anatomy may have run out of original episodes last Thursday but luckily the spoilers don't end there. No siree. According to my Grey's mole, the next episode, which was in the process of being written when the strike began, will thrust Cristina into 2 major storylines. One of them I already told you about a romance between her and Joshua Jackson's doctor character. The other I didn't and that's because I just found out myself. I'm hearing that Dr. Yang will be the one to help Meredith get over her split with Derek. A breakup that, my mole insists, will stick for awhile, at least until the conclusion of the Derek/Rose arc.

Finalmente le prime conferme dopo la fine dello sciopero: Joshua Jackson, che recentemente è stato scritturato come protagonista di un nuovo sci-fi show della Fox simile a X-Files prodotto da J.J. Joshua Jackson's not appearing


It appears Joshua Jackson's Grey's Anatomy gig has ended before it began. And once again, the writers' strike is to blame.

To quickly recap, Grey's announced last fall that the ex-Dawson's Creeker would be joining the cast for a multi-episode arc as a doctor and, as I would later report, a love interest for Cristina. Unfortunately, just weeks before he was scheduled to shoot his first episode, the writers went on strike and Jackson's stint, just like the TV biz itself, was put on hold.

Cut to present day: The strike is over, Grey's is headed back into production, and Jackson is — yep, you guessed it — no longer available. During the work stoppage, J.J. Abrams hand-picked the actor to headline his new X-Files-esque Fox series Fringe, which is currently in production in Toronto (and will be through mid-March). Although an attempt was made to make the scheduling work, ultimately the logistics proved too daunting.

Now Grey's is forced to either recast the role or scrap it entirely. An ABC spokesperson declined to comment, but a Seattle Grace insider says a final decision will likely be made in the coming days.

Personally, I'm bummed we won't get to see Pacey and Cristina mix it up. I have a thing for unlikely romantic pairings, and this one was about as unlikely as they come. Feel free to agree or disagree with me in the comments section below. And while you're at it, throw out some names of potential replacements — should Grey's opt to go the recast route. Hey, I hear James Van Der Beek's free!

T.R. Knight Dishes on Grey's and More


Newsflash: Some of our favorite shows might be better than ever this spring!

T.R. Knight just stopped by our E! building for a spot on Ryan's radio show, On-Air with Ryan Seacrest, and revealed that Grey's Anatomy, like Lost, is hitting the fast-forward button on the storyline so they can cover the same amount of plot in less time. You know what that means, right? Big stuff in every episode!

T.R. was promoting the reason many of us in the L.A. area are counting the minutes till Friday night: The Grey's cast is putting together a charity event (benefiting the below-the-line crew members affected by the strike) called Good Medicine at UCLA's Royce Hall, in which they will all (including Tony-winning Sara Ramirez!) sing. On returning to Grey's: "We go back Mar. 16, and then we're going to do about four or five new episodes before the end of the season to get them in. We had about 13, 14, 15 left to do, so they're going to cram all that story into four or five episodes."

On Good Medicine: "It's a benefit for crews that have been hit the hardest these past four months on strike. It started out at Kate Walsh's wedding back on Labor Day of last year. And Shonda Rhimes, the creator of both shows, had this idea for her birthday party. She had a lot of people from Broadway [in the Grey's cast], and she was going to have them all sing at her birthday party. Everyone else has been in musicals and [has] Tony awards, and I was only in the straight plays—no singing at all. But she was still demanding that I sing, and when your boss demands that you sing, you sing. We were on the strike line and the birthday party had been canceled because it didn't seem like the right time, and the idea came to change it into a benefit. So, that's what we're doing."
On Who's Participating: "Well, it's not everyone. It's Sara Ramirez who has a Tony for Spamalot, Chandra Wilson, Paul Adelstein, Amy Brenneman, and me, we're all singing. Everyone's going to be there. Well, almost everyone. Walsh and Dempsey can't make it. He's going to be in Singapore. But they're filming stuff for it."

On Isaiah Washington: "That's so very last year. That's past. It has to be water under the bridge, there's so much life that's happened since then."
On Free Time During the Strike: "I got a new puppy. An Australian shepherd and lab mix. He's pretty great. He came shaved—he was a rescue dog. I have another dog as well—he's still sort of a puppy, too."

Brutte notizie per i fan di Katherine Heigl. Nonostante la notizia non è stata ancora ufficializzata, il sito Buddy Tv ha dichiarato che l'attrice vuole lasciare la serie. Il motivo? molto semplice, la Heigl infatti grazie al successo dei suoi film "Molto Incita" e " 27 volte in bianco" (che uscirà in Italia il 21 Marzo 2008) ha ricevuto molte proposte per nuovi film sul grande schermo. La Heigl avrebbe, dunque, chiesto ai produttori di uccidere il suo personaggio e di pubblicizzare l'evento in modo tale da far crescere anche gli ascolti (che con la quarta stagione ha perso ben 5 milioni di spettatori). Katherine è sempre più ostinata a lavorare al cinema, infatti, ha anche inagurato una casa di produzione insieme alla madre. Ma l'attrice ha un contratto blindato con la Abc e la Touchston per molti anni... cosa succederà?

I know a lot of you are concerned about MerDer, so that is where I will start off.

The first trace of MerDer in the opening sequence is of Derek in the OR. He is finishing up surgery. The camera pans to Rose in the gallery. She's smiling "obnoxiously" at him. LOL! Then the camera pans behind her to Meredith who is also watching the surgery in the gallery. Derek looks up and it seems as if he is looking at Rose for a second, until Derek and meredith's eyes lock. Rose realizes he isn't looking at her and turns around and sees Meredith but shrugs it off. Meredith realizes what she's doing and runs out of the gallery.
It says several weeks have passed. So I'm assuming that during that time Derek and Rose have been dating and Derek and Mer haven't had much contact.

Continuing on the MerDer front...


There is a kind of cute, funny exchange between Meredith and Cristina. I really hope they keep this in the script, because I'd imagine that Ellen and Sandra would do it well.
Meredith talks about how that "da.mn nurse" keeps popping up all over the place. She can't get through an hour without seeing her. Cristina says that maybe if Meredith stayed away from "that da.mn nurse's boyfriend's surgeries" she wouldn't have to constantly see her, but since she is "stalking his OR", she's bound to pop up. Meredith glares at Cristina for a second, but then continues, saying that she is interested in neuro and asking Cristina what she expects her to do. Cristina says no, that she's interested in the head of neruo, not neuro itself, and that evokes a bigger, longer glare from Mer. She says she is over him and moving on. Cristina points out that Meredith hasn't been out with the group in a while, and in order to move on, she needs to get laid. Meredith asks why Cristina hasn't gotten laid since Burke left, and they're left making faces at each other.

There is no outright blow-up between the two. Nothing really comes to a head yet. It looks as if there are minor improvements and that more will come in following episodes. They'd have to work kind of quickly, though because there will only be five until the finale, but with the way things are on course right now, I think we can have a positive resolution by season's end.

They end up working on a case together later on in the ep, and they don't speak until the very end, when the surgery runs long and they are both scrubbing out. It seems that he realizes what time it is and sighs, and she sarcastically asks if he is late for a date or something. He says yes and she's kind of dumbfounded for a second. Then she says that Rose would get it because "she does the surgery thing too" and he smiles at her and says yeah. And then Mer walks out of the room and Derek follows her out with his eyes and then whispers to himself that Rose doesn't get it as well as others might.

I'd like to mention quickly that Meredith DOES go to Joe's at the end of the episode, but it is not specified what she has to drink, if anything. It says something about Cristina having a beer bottle in hand and Izzie ordering a glass of wine, but nothing about Meredith drinking. So as of right now I think the pregnancy thing is still up in the air.

Mark's case actually isn't specified... which is actually really odd in itself. It must be one of the most original drafts. There is a lot of [Medical] in his scenes. Which occurs in basically all of the surgical scenes, but his surgical scenes aren't even specifying what the [Medical] is about. I'm guessing that when they go back and fix that, they're going to make it in stronger relation to the theme.

There is a scene with him and Derek, at the very end, at Joes (they all congregate at Joe's at the very end of the episode) where Mark is telling Derek that there is a reason that Meredith doesn't trust him, and if he doesn't want things to go the same way wtih Rose, he "better go". Go, is referring to a dinner date that Derek and Rose had planned that Derek was late for (the scene with Mer in the scrub room) he never does show up for that date. (!! There is a PLANT scene mid-episode with her and Derek when they're planning this thing. She initiates it and he seems distracted. He gets paged away)

Mark is also involved with the Alex/Clinic thing, but not so much the medical aspect of it. He also has several conversations with Callie about the whole marriage thing (and what makes the relationship work - trust. Wait - THEME! THEME! Could it be trust?), and he is working with George, which pretty much prevokes all of the failed marriage discussion.

Nothing really happens between George and Izzie. They talk at lunch but its all awkard and not really romantic.

A little eyesex, it seems. Mark gets paged over to the hospital and Derek tells him that he is going to go meet Rose but he stays at the bar after Mark leaves watching Meredith. Meredith sees him and watches him out of the corner of her eye for a little, before Cristina catches her and calls over some random guy and introduces them. Meredith is seemingly disgusted and she walks out and leaves. Derek, it says "satisfied" walks back up to the bar so that he is directly in Cristina's eyeline, orders another drink, goes back to sit down at his table, and calls Rose and tells her that he can't make it and he's stuck at the hospital.

As far as we're told in the script I have, Derek and Rose have been dating for about two weeks. Rose is deleriously happy but Derek isn't. I don't think that Derek and Meredith had much contact in the two weeksDewith the exception of Mer sitting in on his surgeries. This episode is the first time they're working together since the breakup, and they don't do much talking, but the case kind of parrallels their relationship (a woman finally forgives her ex-fiance for calling off their wedding two years before and they get back together, only for him to fall off a roof during a construction job and bust his head opened). All of their talking pretty much revolves around that, but it seems as if they both recognize the parrallel.
The Mark/Derek scene starts off with Mark sitting at Joe's alone. Derek walks in and sits down next to him, and Mark says "You're the last person that I expected to find here." Derek tells him that his surgery ran long. And Mark says "So no fun in the on-call room with Rose?" And then "Or Meredith?" Just as Meredith walks in, looks at Derek for a second, (obviously realizing that he's not on the date that they talked about) and then walks straight up to the bar to join Izzie and Cristina. Then he asks what happened to the date, and Derek just says, to no one "She doesn't trust me." And Mark looks at Meredith, realizing that Derek is talking about Meredith and he says "If you don't want things to go the same way... If you want Rose to trust you... you better go". Derek tells him that he will, just as Mark gets paged. Mark leaves, and Derek calls Rose and tells her that he is stuck at the hospital and won't be able to make it to dinner.


Katherine Heigl Leaving Grey's? Find Out Now!



Maybe it's the show's impending post-strike return. Maybe it's the success of that mediocre movie with the dresses. Or maybe it's that recent National Enquirer story. Whatever the reason, rumors that Katherine Heigl's Grey's days are numbered have staged a Hillary-type resurgence this week. But does the prattle have any basis in reality?

Nah.

A well-placed Seattle Grace insider, who, it should be noted, has never steered me wrong before, insists that Heigl remains "under contract" and adds that there are "no plans or discussions" for her to exit the series.

End of story. At least until the end of her next contract cycle.

Of course, Heigl wanting to leave Grey's and actually leaving Grey's are two very different things. That's not to suggest she wants to leave. Just that the two things are different. I want to be very clear about that.

All this talk about Heigl not leaving Grey's has me wondering: Could the show survive without Izzie? Gizzie, yes. But Izzie? Thoughts below please.

'Grey's Anatomy' creator reveals spoilers on upcoming plot lines


"My goal is to get Meredith [Ellen Pompeo] and Derek [Patrick Dempsey] together for good and let them try to figure out what it is to be in a relationship in the future," Grey's Anatomy creator Shonda Rhimes revealed to EW.com today. "And that is something that time off [during the writers' strike] really gave me perspective on — whether or not we could actually do it, how we could do it, that it would be amazing to watch how that works."

Rhimes had dinner with Dempsey and "we talked about all of this," she reports. "As actors, they're very invested in Derek and Meredith. Ellen and I are getting together Monday."

Also coming up when Grey's returns for five episodes on April 24: Lauren Stamile, who plays McDreamy's latest potential love interest, Nurse Rose, will return for all five episodes; and Elizabeth Reaser, as Jane Doe, will be back for three.

When told of the Meredith-McDreamy news, costar TR Knight exclaimed, "Oh, wow, I didn't know that! I guess Meredith and Derek are gonna smooch again!" But Knight is busy getting over a bad cold before heading back to work next week: "I got the crud that's been going around," he said as he drove home from a doctor's appointment this evening. "It was like, Body is crashing, you've got a week and a half to be sick before work starts, so go."

Mer/Der questo coppia "s'ha da fare"


“Adesso il mio obbiettivo e vedere Meredith e Derek insieme benevolmente e provare a vedere che cosa potranno essere nel futuro”. Parole di conforto per tutti i fan della coppia che da tempo speravano in questa notizia. L’executive producer, Shonda Rhimes, durante la pausa, a causa dello sciopero, ha riflettuto molto sul destino della coppia, e adesso pare abbia trovato un risposta (che è giusta, vero?). Nonostante i due, durante la terza stagione e la quarta stagione, siano stati insieme tra alti e bassi non sono comunque riusciti ad andare avanti ed a crearsi un futuro. Casting News

Amy Madigan has booked a multi-episode arc on Grey's Anatomy, sources confirm to me exclusively. The Oscar-nominated thesp — and former co-star of HBO's gone-but-not-forgotten Carnivale — is playing a psychiatrist who, and I'm just speculating here, may be the one to help Meredith get over her commitment issues, thus paving the way for the Mer/Der reunion Shonda Rhimes has been hyping.

Meanwhile, Madigan's former Carnivale co-star, Clea DuVall, will fill the "everywoman housewife" role I teased in last week's Ask Ausiello. Her George Clooney-esque husband will be played by Jason O'Mara (Men in Trees, In Justice). I'm guessing one of them will be a patient. Both are on board for two episodes.

Episode 4.13 "Piece of My Heart"

Characters: Sarah, Freddie, Dr.Thomas, Nikki, Will

Nikki and Will are a young grungy, hippie couple. Nikki is pregnant but the baby’s organs are reversed. The doctor on their case is Dr. Swanson and Nikki remarks that they’ve heard that Dr.Swanson is the best of the best. Will remarks of course she is since they asked the Universe to send them the best. Dr. S explains that they’ll have to perform a two part surgery – first on Nikki, then on the baby to makes sure the baby is stabilized. Dr. S promises to take every precaution to make sure the baby has the best possible chance at survival. Nikki and Will are confident

Later on, Dr. Swanson is taking Nikki’s vitals and alerting Nikki that the surgery will be very complicated and the Cesarian incision will be twice the size it normally is. Nikki says that they are just thankful that the baby is going to be born that day surrounded by their love. Will asks Dr. S when they can take the baby home. Dr. S says that it’s hard to say and will depend on the additional problems the baby’s condition may have caused. Nikki then asks Dr.S if she thinks there’s something more wrong with the baby. Will says to the doctor that their intention is to have a healthy baby. Dr. S says she justs wants them to be prepared. Will answers that they are prepared -- they are prepared for a healthy baby.

Night – in the NICU

Nikki is sitting in a wheelchair next to the incubator. Will is standing nearby. Dr. Smith approaches and tells them that the baby’s “medical” looks good and his heart seems to be responding to the “medical”. Dr. Smith tells them they proved them wrong because the baby was born very strong and very healthy. Will says that it was never about proving anyone wrong. Dr. Smith apologizes for the way he spoke to them earlier. Will says it’s ok because Dr.Smith was just trying to make them hear him and they did – they just didn’t believe him because he was giving them the bad and there’s a whole lot of bad to focus on if you want to. Will then says there’s also hope. There’s always hope.

Nikki smiles and strokes the baby’s head. Will moves close to Nikki and takes her hand. Off Dr.Smith, wanting very much to be unaffected…


Sarah & Freddie are another couple. They are waiting in the clinic, holding hands and looking very worried. Dr.Walters walks up to them and informs them that Sarah is pregnant. Sarah says that they need to schedule an abortion then. Freddie turns to Sarah and starts apologizing and Sarah begins to cry quietly and is embarrassed. Dr.W says that a counselor would advise them to sit with this for a few days before making a decision. Freddie says there’s no decision to make. It was an accident and they are always so careful. Sarah then says she’s HIV+ and the condom broke. She just wants to get it over with and asks if the abortion could be done that day.

Dr.W takes that in and feels utterly powerless.

Night – Clinic

Dr.W is charting and Sarah approaches. Sarah starts asking Dr.W how could she give them that type of false hope. She says her husband had given up on the idea of having children when he married her and it wasn’t fair that she had to disappoint him again. Dr. W starts saying she’s sorry but Sarah continues… She tells Dr.W that she doesn’t know what it’s like living with the disease and taking meds every day. She says she was diagnosed when she was 19 and has lived with HIV her whole adult life. She has learned how to deal with it but she won’t put that onto a baby. She can’t bring a baby into this world who could have the disease. Dr.W tells Sarah that she knows she had given up on having children a long time ago and it’s hard to readjust her thinking but if Sarah were to take her meds responsibly there’s a chance for her to be a mom.

Sarah looks at Dr.W and bursts into tears (happy, grateful, overwhelmed tears). Freddie arrives concerned and asks if everything is alright. Sarah tells him they are having a baby. Off Dr.W, watching the two of them and happy for them.

(this next scenes from the Freddie sides obviously happen before Sarah talks to Dr.Walters)

Freddie – Dr.W is working on another clinic patient and sees Freddie. Dr.W excuses himself and goes over to Freddie and asks him if there’s anything he needs and that she has already paged an OB but doesn’t know how long it’ll take… Freddie tells Dr.W that they have never had unprotected sex. Dr.W says she’s not judging. Freddie says that they’ve never had unprotected sex and the one time in 10 years that the condom breaks, Sarah gets pregnant. Freddie says he knows there must have been medical advances since Sarah has been diagnosed and asks if there’s any way they could keep the baby. Dr.W unsure…

Later in the clinic, Dr.W sits down with Sarah and Freddie and tells Sarah that she knows that when she was diagnosed she was told that a pregnancy was not a responsible option for her but that a lot has changed. Dr.W informs them that medications have changed and they know a lot more now… Sarah could have this baby is she wants to. Freddie gets really excited and happy. Dr.W tells them that the meds will have to be adjusted and Dr.W hasn’t found them an OB yet and it may be difficult to find one. Freddie says it doesn’t matter and they’ll figure things out. He’s clearly ecstatic and overjoyed.


Dr.Thomas (described as a sweet looking grandpa of a doctor). Dr.W approaches Dr.Thomas and thanks him for meeting her on such short notice. Dr.W then tells Dr.T that the patient in question is 35 years old, 6 weeks pregnant and has Huntington’s Disease. Dr.T says his week is pretty full but he probably squeeze in an evacuation. Dr.W says that she’s been doing some research and thinks that may not be necessary. She tells Dr.T that the patient wants to keep the baby and she [Dr.W] was hoping that Dr.T could take her in as a patient. Dr. T straight out says no. Dr.W asks why. Dr.T asks Dr.W if she knows the potential malpractice risks in a patient of that type. If something were to go wrong, the insurance hassles alone... Dr.W asks “Insurance hassles?” Dr.T then says his practice is full. Dr.W counters by asking if it would still be full if the patient was perfectly healthy. Dr.T says he won’t treat the patient and wishes Dr.W good luck in finding an OB who will. Dr.T says that patient is a malpractice suit waiting to happen. His advice is that the patient should abort.

Dr.T walks away and Dr.W is left stunned.

I think Dr.Swanson being the "best of the best" is obviously going to be Dr. Addison Montgomery. Dr.Smith who later talks to the couple in the NICU sounds like Alex to me. It sounds like Dr.Smith said something a little too harsh (Alex's trademark brutal honestly?) which is why he later apologizes for it and Will points out that Dr.Smith was just giving them the bad side of things. Also the description of Dr.Smith trying very hard to be unnafected totally sounds like Alex. So it looks like we'll be seeing Addie and Alex working together again.

Dr.Walters sounds like it may be Izzie or Meredith to me.

- George, dopo essere stato confuso per un bel po' ed aver fatto delle scelte sbagliate, crescerà velocemente. In questo percorso sarà aiutato dal Capo, che lo prenderà sotto la sua ala.
- Cristina avrà una crisi professionale, dopo essere diventata la specializzanda della Hahn
- Ava/Rebecca tornerà per tre episodi
- Rose rimarrà per i rimanenti cinque episodi della serie
- Addison, come già sappiamo, ritornerà al Seattle Grace per risolvere alcune situazioni cliniche, come solo lei sa fare. E sarà una visita significativa anche per le relazioni interpersonali.
Riguardo Derek e Meredith, Shonda chiarisce che il suo obiettivo è che stiano insieme non a fine stagione, ma da subito.
Un'altra notizia ci giunge da Ausiello, che come già fatto più volte (e puntualmente smentito), afferma che il Gizzie è definitivamente morto.

Episode 4.12 - Where The Wild Things Are


A male patient is suffered important injuries after his brother drove the car both were in straight into a truck. The patient keeps rambling about the fact his brother married the wrong woman. Otis Sharon, another patient, tells a doctor about mistakes he (Otis) would erase if he could go back to when he was 30. But, after tons of tests, he learns that he only has the flu, Otis changes his tune.

Episode 4.13 - Piece of My Heart


This seems to be the episode where Addison will drop by Seattle Grace because one of the cases of the week involves a yet-to-be-born baby whose organs are reversed. An HIV-positive woman learns that she is pregnant. A grandpa-type doctor is called in to help a 35-year-old pregnant woman suffering from Huntington's Disease but refuses to take her on as a patient when he learns of her condition and thinks of the potential malpractice risks involved with the case.

George will move toward "becoming that guy," reveals Grey's exec producer Shonda Rhimes, which is a huge relief to T.R. Knight: "He's been such a mess for so long, making weird choices, it'll be nice to see him grow up a little quicker." Helping him get there? The Chief, who will take George under his wing. Christina, meanwhile, will have her own professional crisis over being Hahn's resident, and Ava/Rebecca will be back for three episodes. Also making a brief return: Addison. "There are a couple of surgeries only she can perform," says Rhimes, "and there are a lot of relationships only she has. It's going to be a very significant visit for a lot of the characters - particularly Addison." And we've saved the best for last: While Rose is returning for all five episodes, Meredith and McDreamy will be getting together "for good," says Rhimes. "The goal was not always to get them together at the end of the season, but that is my goal now."

Un uomo rimane ferito in un incidente stradale causato dal fratello di questi. L'auto si schianta contro un mezzo pesante e l'uomo viene ricoverato al Seattle Grace. Durante la degenza continua a dire che il fratello ha sposato la donna sbagliata. Otis Sharon, un altro paziente, racconta invece a un dottore che se potesse tornare a quando aveva 30 anni, cancellerebbe un bel po' di errori commessi. E' il titolo di una canzone scritta da Jerry Rogovoy e Bert Berns e registrata per la prima volta dalla sorella maggiore di Erma Franklin nel 1967. Della canzone poi sono stata create diverse cover come ad esempio la hit version di Faith Hill nel 1994 e da Beverly Knight nel 2006.

Shonda Rhimes a Tv Guide!

"Quando Grey's Anatomy tornerà, il prossimo 24 Aprile ci saranno 5-6 settimane di distacco dall'ultima puntata, questo per giustificare la lunga assenza dovuta allo sciopero degli autori. Nonostante ciò, sin dalla prima puntata, sarà ben chiaro cosa sta succendo tra Meredith, Derek e Rose. Vedremo dove George sta vivendo,i capo specializzandi saranno anche coinvolti in un' operazione altamente rischiosa, idea di cui il capo non è troppo entusiasta. Vecchie coppie torneranno insieme, e ci saranno persone che inzieranno nuove storie, e sono

Un fan di Grey's Anatomy chiede ad Ausiello se ci sono novità buone o cattive sui prossimi cinque episodi del telefilm. E Ausiello risponde " Beh, Dipende! Vedere due uomini molto sexy in tv vi fa divertire? E allora ci sono buone novità almeno in uno dei cinque prossimi episodi. La produzione infatti sta cercando una coppia di attori molto belli sulla ventina che interpreteranno due soldati gay e innamorati.L'attore dovrà essere caucasico (ovvero di pelle chiara), focoso ed essere disposto a scambiare un "bacio molto romantico" con un altro ragazzo". Ma la cosa strana è che la notizia è stata lanciata con una foto di Eric Dane e Ausiello subito aggiunge "Se vi state chiedendo il perchè stiamo dando notizia con la foto di Eric Dane vi diamo due motivi A) La storia appartiene a Grey's Anatomy B) Eric Dance fa parte di Grey's Anatomy.

Ausiello: First, let's explain to the class what you're referring to, Mandy. In the current issue of TV Guide (on sale tomorrow), guest spoiler columnist Shonda Rhimes offers a first-person preview of the show's final five episodes — and she saves the best for the last paragraph. "A lot happens in these five episodes," the onetime Information Nazi writes. "And it all ends with a kiss. A good kiss. A great kiss. A kiss so good it makes you lean into your televisions. A kiss we never saw coming. Oh, it's a major kiss." Unfortunately, I come bearing no clues since I honestly have no idea whose lips will be smacking. She kind of threw me for a loop with the whole "kiss we never saw coming" bit. Up till that point I just assumed it was reunion-bound Mer-Der.

Only ET was on the set of "Grey's Anatomy" as the hit ABC medical drama was filming the final five episodes of the season, which start airing tonight at 9 p.m. One hush-hush fact ET's MARK STEINES uncovered was that six weeks after Derek (PATRICK DEMPSEY) and Meredith (ELLEN POMPEO) broke up because she discovered he had kissed Nurse Rose (guest star LAUREN STAMILE), they begin making their way back together -- for good!

"I'm not kissing anyone right now. I'm kiss free," Ellen tells Mark. "I know it is strange being on the 'Grey's Anatomy' set and nobody is making out. Right? Well, actually, I think they are just in another room. For once it's not me!"

Also on tonight's episode, George (T.R. KNIGHT) and Lexie (CHYLER LEIGH) get used to their squalid, new apartment, and Callie (SARA RAMIREZ) and Erica Hahn (BROOKE SMITH) become friends.

"We move in together. Sweet, we got a sweet pad," Chyler tells Mark, which also means no more Izzie (KATHERINE HEIGL) and George.

"They're better off friends than anything else," T.R. says. "They are no longer going to be naked around each other."

The mis-matched pair of George and Izzie may not be getting naked together any longer, but someone is, because Mark also sleuthed out the news that someone gets pregnant before the end of the season -- and that the identity of the father may be in question.

"Not by me and, as far as I know, I'm not going to be pregnant," kids ERIC DANE, who plays Dr. Mark Sloan, aka Dr. McSteamy. "Spreading seeds like crazy though, right? Who me? Always."

When "Grey's Anatomy" returns tonight at 10 on ABC, AMY MADIGAN and CHEECH MARIN will guest star.

Episode 4.16 will be called "Freedom".

L’attesa è terminata! Meredith e Derek torneranno insieme nell’ultimo episodio stagionale di Grey’s Anatomy in onda il 22 Maggio. In attesa del gran giorno, ci siamo incontrati con Ellen Pompeo per parlare di questa molto attesa riconciliazione, il futuro dello show, e come si rilassa quando ha finito di girare il famoso drama della ABC.

Come Shonda Rhimes (creatore di GA) t’ha detto che Meredith e Derek sarebbero tornati assieme?
Sono arrivata due settimane prima che riprendessimo a girare e lei mi ha invitato per una chiacchierata. Ha iniziato dicendo che ha avuto tempo durante la pausa per guardare l’intera serie, ha visto dove è iniziato e dove è giunto e dove dovrebbe andare adesso. L’ha aiutata ad avere nuove prospettive

Ha detto di aver fatto alcuni errori?
Siamo ad Hollywood. Le persone non ammettono i propri errori.

Come si è sentita del fatto che Mer-Der tornassero assieme?
Le ho detto per cortesia di far sì che avvenga in modo credibile. Non farli tornare assieme perchè i fan lo vogliono: così- poof- sono assieme. Per piacere fallo in modo credibile. Avrei preferito se fossimo rimasti distanti per un po’e saremmo ritornati assieme gradualmente. Mi preoccupo soltanto quando ciò possa esser realistico dopo tutto il casino successo.

Come si sente riguardo la sua relazione?
Non puoi giudicare i personaggi per davvero, perchè ciò renderebbe difficile la loro interpretazione. Ma a volte Meredith ha preso scelte per cui ho detto ” Perchè lo sta facendo? Perchè continua ad andargli dietro dopo tuto cio’? Devi tentare di trovare un modo per farlo, ma ciò non è sempre facile. Non avrei mai permesso che un uomo mi trattasse in questo modo.

Quando hai cominciato a sentire che Mer-Der stavano diventando ripetitivi?
La scorsa stagione lo show ha cominciato veramente ad andare un po’ fuori strada con cose folli come il tentato suicidio di Meredith, e poi con la storia di George ed Izzie. Sembrava come se tutto fosse fuori posto, il che era vero. Shonda stava scrivendo Private Practice e la sua attenzione era distolta.

Cosa provi riguardo George ed Izzie?
Adoro Katie [Heigl] e T.R. [Knight] così tanto che non riesco a farmi piacere il fatto che stiano assieme. E’ come se mio fratello e mia sorella si baciassero. Io non voglio vedere mio fratello e mia sorella baciarsi!

Cosa ti ha detto Shonda quando in passato ti sei lamentata di Meredith e Derek?
Lei ha sempre una risposta. Meredith non può impegnarsi perchè ci sono dei problemi con sua madre. Ma se lei non può impegnarsi, perchè non può andarsene? Diventa ridondante. Ma nessuno vuole ascoltare le mie lamentele.

I fans sembrano non riuscire a capire se amare od odiare Meredith.
Non tutti possono piacerti. A me non piace chiunque vedo in TV. Puoi provare ad avere l’amore del mondo intero. E’ una cosa da pazzi egocentrici. E’ stupidità. Tutto sommato ho ancora un lavoro incredibile.

Pensi che questo show possa avere un’ottava o una nona stagione?
Non so come si possa avere materiale originale così a lungo, a mantenere la stessa audience per otto anni… non so come sia possibile.

Riesci a vederti andare verso l’amaro finale?
No. Siamo contratto per sette stagioni. E non ho mai detto no a niente. Ma, penso che dopo sette stagioni certamente comincerò di certo a sentire di non avere più niente da dare a questo personaggio.

Ti impegni molto per stare lontana dalla stampa? A parte le saltuarie partite dei Lakers, non ci sono molti paparazzi che ti fotografano mentre cammini su Robertson Boulevard a Beverly Hills, a fare shopping.
Il mio matrimonio è stato un po’ difficile da nascondere. Ma il Municipio di New York City ci ha aiutati molto. Non è difficile stare lontano dalla stampa se non vuoi. Ci sono degli accorgimenti che puoi prendere. Io indosso la stessa tuta nera per lavorare quasi ogni giorno. E’ un piccolo consiglio che ho copiato da Madonna. Se non ti acconci ogni giorno quando esci, i paparazzi non vengono. Se sanno che stai per uscire con una bellissima borsa, un bellissimo vestito, delle bellissime scarpe, si faranno vedere puntuali come un orologio ogni giorno. Fa parte del business dei giornali. Il secondo motivo [per cui sto lontana dalla stampa scandalistica] è che penso che più la gente sa riguardo la tua vita privata, meno sarai credibile come personaggio. Voglio solo che la gente creda nel personaggio che interpreto e mi veda credibile in quel ruolo. Questo è quello che veramente mi interessa

Ausiello: Au contraire, mademoiselle. The TVG article actually says Hahn and Callie smack lips this Thursday. The "major" kiss Shonda Rhimes was referring to takes place next week in the season-ender — and it may or may not pertain to a second, more passionate Hahn/Callie buss. This much I can confirm for you: The May 22 finale features several kisses, all of which I'd characterize as significant. But only one is so good that, to quote Rhimes, it will make you "lean into your televisions."

"Grey's Anatomy" wraps up this season with a two-hour finale, airing tonight starting at 9 p.m. on ABC, involving a really big trauma case requiring several of the surgeons, including Dr. Erica Hahn (BROOKE SMITH), to work on freeing a boy from a hardening block of cement.

ET is with Brooke to get all the inside scoop on the "Grey's" drama, including the lesbian kiss with Callie (SARA RAMIREZ). Will that turn into a romance, or was it just to get McSteamy's (ERIC DANE) goat?
