tra un pò inizieranno le riprese della nuova stagione e incominciano a girare i primi spoilers
per prima cosa l'intervista ad Al Gough dopo la season finale
iF: recentemente a Parigi ha detto che Tom Welling ha firmato fino ad un'ottava stagione, questo significa che la serie è stata rinnovata per così tanto tempo? E che sicuramente tornerà la prossima stagione?
GOUGH: sapremo ufficialmente della settima stagione il 17 Maggio durante CW upfronts, ma ovviamente siamo molto fiduciosi. Riguardo l'ottava stagione, chi lo sa? Ci sono una serie di fattori che influiscono nella decisione, non quanto la qualità della settima stagione su cui adesso ci focalizzeremo. Se ci sarà un'ottava stagione, sarà l'ultima della serie. Ogni eroe ha un inizio, ma ogni storia ha una fine.
iF: dal momento che il contratto di Michael Rosenbaum scade alla fine dell'anno prossimo, se la serie avrà un'ottava stagione, la serie proseguirà anche senza Lex Luthor e come?
GOUGH: onestamente non posso fare delle speculazioni, ma posso solo dire che se ci sarà un'ottava stagione, speriamo che Michael continui a far parte del cast, ma se sceglerà altrimenti, la serie continuerà comunque.
iF: come riportato, Justin Hartley [the Green Arrow] non tornerà nella prossima stagione, abbiamo visto l'ultima volta il nostro arciere nel cappuccio verde? e come andrà a finire la storia della Justice Leage?
GOUGH: non credo che non rivedremo più Ollie o qualcuno dei suoi amici. Chi lo sa, quando lo rivedremo. potrebbe avere qualcosa di più!
iF: da quando Oliver Queen è andato via con la Justice League abbiamo visto sempre meno Lois Lane[Erica Durance], avete in mente qualcosa per lei per la prossima stagione?
GOUGH: assolutamente. In parte la sua assenza è stata dovuta ai suoi impegni su altri set, ma vedrete come lei interpreterà un ruolo centrale nella season finale e il prossimo anno finalmente vedremo la Lois che tutti conosciamo e amiamo.
iF: in questa stagione è stato rivelato che Chloe ha dei poteri grazie alla kriptonite, ma escludendo l'abilità di suo madre, che era in grado di controllarla, come abbiamo visto nell'episodio "Progeny", le sue capacità non si sono fatte ancora vedere. Perchè questa idea dei poteri e saranno rivelati in questa stagione, proprio come sostengono le voci che girano?
GOUGH: l'idea che Chloe potesse avere dei poteri l'avevamo sempre in testa, ma non volevamo che questo fosse un cattivo trucchetto, volevamo che il pubblico credesse molto nel suo personaggio e nella sua relazione con Clark, e se abbiamo fatto questo, è per infittire il suo personaggio e questo ci ha permesso di poter continuare ad approfondire Chloe nella settima stagione. Ma prima vedremo i suoi poteri manifestarsi nella season finale.
iF: parlando di "Progeny", Lynda Carter è la madre di Chloe! Come hai gestito la cosa?
GOUGH: Lynda è stata sempre nella lista degli attori che avremmo voluto nella serie.
L'abbiamo contattata un paio di volte per altri episodi, ma ha sempre rimandato per un ruolo più importante nella mitologia di Smallville. Quando dovevamo trovare qualcuno per la madre di Chloe, lei è stata il primo nome che ci è venuto e per fortuna ha accettato.
iF: qualche settimana fa E! Online ha riportato che ci sarà una morte nella season finale. E' vero o può dirci qualcos'altro?
GOUGH: forse più di una!
iF: cosa vi ha fatto decidere di produrre un episodio come "Noir" in questo momento della serie e specialmente così vicini al finale? non è un pò rischioso fare qualcosa del genere?
GOUGH: è sempre un rischio e non importa cosa i fan abbiano pensato, voglio pensare che è stato un ottimo episodio. Avevamo molte strade per arrivare agli ultimi due episodi della stagione e questo era un modo abbanstanza stravagante per arrivare a qualcosa di diverso dal solito!
iF: cosa può dirci sulla prossima, o sull prossime, stagione/i?
GOUGH: nuovi personaggi, nuove relazioni e più mitologia.
iF: ci sarà qualche altro personaggio DC il prossimo anno?
GOUGH: certamente, state pronti per un annuncio a fine estate.
iF: avete già deciso su quale tema sviluppare la settima stagione?
GOUGH: abbiamo iniziato qualcosa con gli scrittori venerdi, sono emersi diversi temi, quindi è piuttosto presto parlarne.

Tra le cose rivelate: Chloe sopravviverà al suo traumatizzante svenimento, dopo aver salvato Lois, secondo Erica... e Glover ha confermato che Annette O'Toole non sarà una regular nella settima stagione.

Ritorneranno anche (e no) la prossima stagione Tom Welling come Clark Kent, Kristin Kreuk come Lana Lang, Michael Rosenbaum come Lex Luthor, Erica Durance come Lois lane, Allison Mack come Chloe Sullivan e John Glover come Lionel Luthor. Non rivedremo Annette O'Toole (Martha Kent).

Esclusivo: Smallville Casting News!
Aspettatevi qualche cambiamento al Daily Planet la prossima stagione. Una delle mie talpe in Smallville mi ha riferito che i produttori stanno cercando qualcuno sui 30 anni "estramamente hot" che interpreti il ruolo del nuovo direttore del Daily Planet, probabilmente qualcuno che prenda il posto di Pauline Kahn. Dovrebbe comparire in sei episodi dei primi otto e secondo la mia super spia, dovrebbe essere un nuovo interesse amoroso per Lois Lane.
Mi è stato detto che mancano ancora poche settimane prima che il ruolo venga assegnato, quindi abbiamo abbastanza tempo per fare i nostri casting.

Guarda in alto nel cielo: è un uccello... è un aereo... è Supergirl?!
Quando Smallville ritornerà per la settima stagione questo autunno, scopriremo che Clark Kent non è l'unico membro della sua famiglia ad essere sopravvissuto alla distruzione del pianeta Kryton. Sua cugina Kara "era stata spedita sulla Terra su una nave che arrivò insieme a Kal-El bambino", ha rivelato Al Gough, riferendosi a Clark con il suo nome Krytoniano. "Ma ce stato un problema e lei è rimasta "addormentata" per 16 anni. Scopriremo nella season premiere che la distruzione della diga nella season finale sarà la causa del suo risveglio."
Gough ha detto che questo ultimo visitatore dei fumetti della DC "aiuterà Clark ad entrare in contatto con le origini Kryptoniane. Con il suo padre adottivo e la sua madre adottiva, che si è trasferita a Washington per diventare senatore degli Stati Uniti, e Lana saltata in aria, improvvisamente c'è qualcosa di familiare nella sua vita."
Come suo cugino, Kara avrà delle abilità generate dalla luce solare della Terra. "Lei ha tutti i poteri di Clark e un altro paio di potere che lui non ha ancora, " Gough ha aggiuto "lei può volare. E la sua risposta quando Clark le domanderà il perchè sarà "è ovvio che le ragazze maturano prima dei ragazzi"".
Kara, era una teenager quando Krypton venne distrutto, fu spedita sulla Terra da suo padre, Zor-El (lo zio di Kal-El), per prendersi cura di suo cugino. Ma mentre lei è si rimasta "addormentata" non è invecchiata e adesso è Clark che deve essere il suo mentore. "Lei si innamora della nostra cultura: vestiti e iPods e altre cose", ha detto Gough, " ci sarà molto da divertirsi quando arriverà".
Kara farà il suo debutto nella season premiere del drama della CW e comparirà per circa metà degli episodi di questa stagione. Un annuncio di casting sarà fatto tra non molto e i produttori sperano di far conoscere il loro nuovo personaggio al July’s Comic-Con International a San Diego.

SUPERGIRL VOLA A "SMALLVILLE". LA SUPEREROINA DEI FUMETTI DC SI UNISCE AL CAST
BURBANK, CA (11 Giugno, 2007) - Guarda il cielo: è un uccello... è un aereo... è Supergirl! Questo autunno Supergirl si unirà alla fila dei supereroi e criminali di Smallville. Supergirl è l'ultimo personaggio dei fumetti DC a comparire nella serie che precedentemente ha ospitato Martian Manhunter, The Green Arrow, Flash, Aquaman, Cyborg e Brainiac. I casting per il ruolo di Supergirl stanno per essere iniziati.
A Smallville, la season premiere della settima stagione inizierà con l'arrivo di Supergirl, il cui nome è Kara, nei panni della cugina 19enne di Clark. E' nata a Krypton ed è la figlia di Zor-El, il fratello di Jor-El. Kara ha gli stessi poteri di Clark ma uno in più che Clark ancora non ha. Può volare! Kara ha anche un carattere forte e ribelle, che la porterà ad essere più volte in disaccordo con Clark e la farà finire nel radar di Lex. In più, lei avrà un interesse amoroso per Jimmy Olsen (Aaron Ashmore).
"Una delle gioie nel produrre Smallville è stata la nostra capacità di reinventare e reinterpretare i personaggi classici dei fumetti DC", ha detto Al Gough, "Miles ed io crediamo che Supergirl darà alla nostra serie la scolta al mito che ha bisogno."

G: il nostro piano è di avere Helen nella serie in questa stagione, ma quando, come e chi la interpreterà non si ancora.

G: dovete giusto aspettare e vedere cosa ne sarà di Bizarro come tutti quanti, ma posso dirvi, che non sarà del tutto sconfitto nella season premiere, come fu per Zod.

Mi è stato appena detto che i Daily Planet avrà un nuovo direttore di nome Greg. Lo vedremo nelle prime puntate della stagione e sorpresa, sopresa, sarà un tipo sexy e astuto.

E' stato appena annunciato che Kara, aka Supergirl, si unirà al cast nella settima stagione. Kara, che è la cugina di Clark, avrà tutti i poteri di Clark e saprà anche volare. Kara potrebbe essere anche un potenziale interesse amoroso per Jimmy Olsen.

alcuni rumors:
- Kristin Kreuk tornerà nel ruolo di Lana Lang. Una falsa morte non può che essere ovvia, vero? Possiamo supporre che ritorna per l'intera stagione, ma non c'è ancora modo di saperlo. A meno che non inizino a girare brutte notizie e Lana è veramente morta...
- per quello che sappiamo nessun altro dei personaggi è in serio pericolo e rischia di morire. John Glover ha detto in un'intervista che potrebbe ritornare a Smallville qualche settimana dopo gli altri, ma ancora ognuno dovrebbe essere sicuro.
- purtroppo Annette O'Toole ha lasciato la serie e "Phantom" è stato l'ultima volta che abbiamo visto Martha Kent. Forse la rivedremo qualche volta il prossimo anno; possiamo solo sperare che se tornerà, farà qualcosa di meglio che preparare torte e flirtare con Lionel.
- la lista del cast della CW per la settima stagione include Aaron Ashmore come Jimmy Olsen. Questo potrebbe significare che ha avuto un contratto di 13 episodi.
- visto che la serie, in cui Justin Hartley era impegnato, non è più andata in onda, probabilmente rivedremo Green Arrow e/o la Justice League.

per me sarebbe perfetto se finisse con lois, cosa purtroppo poco probabile, però mi accontento se non tornerà mai con lana, insomma per me può essere pure morta nella season finale :D, in poche parole non la sopportavo più

Diverse fonti confermano che Michael Cassidy (Hidden Palms, The O.C.) sostituirà al Daily Planet Carrie Fisher, interpretata da Pauline Kahn. Cassidy apparirà in almeno sei episodi e, come riportato già dal mese di Giugno, il suo personaggio sarà un possibile interesse amoroso per Lois Lane.

Il fumetto parla chiaro: sarà Lois a dare a Clark il nome di Superman, e sarà da quel momento che i due si ameranno. Ma si sa, Smallville non segue questi schemi. (ed è proprio questo che mi piace)
Secondo me con Lana non finirà mai, almeno fino a quando Clark deciderà di trasferirsi definitivamente a Metropolis, lì non ci saranno ostacoli per Clois. Lasciando Smallville Clark lascerà anche Lana questo è certo.
7x01 "Bizarro"
- secondo E! Online Jimmy Olsen non comparirà nel primo episodio
- E! ha anche detto che si vede il corpo di una donna in un obitorio. Si tratta di Chloe, ma "lei non è morta"
- Sembra che sarà Clark a salvare Chloe. Dopo che un'infermiera lo informa che Chloe si trova nell'obitorio, Clark va da lei e la sente gridare. Usando la sua super vista vede il corpo di Chloe scuotersi.
- Lex viene salvato, mentre sta annegando, da una misteriosa donna bionda, che non è altro se non Kara.
7x02 "Kara"
- il secondo episodio della settima stagione è intitolato "Kara"
- il cognome di Grant (il nuovo editore, che sarà impersonato da Michel Cassidy) si suppone che sia "Gabriel"
- Aaron Ashmore (Jimmy) e John Glover (Lionel) non compariranno in questo episodio
- si stanno facendo delle audizioni per i ruoli di uno scienziato, di un investigatore, di un ragazzo di nome Cody, di un uomo in abito nero, di un dottore, di Dennis King e di due giovani criminali.
- Quando Kara si risveglia va in cerca di un Kal-El bambino. Lei non è si è resa conto di tutti gli anni che sono passati. Lo cerca in pediatria all'ospedale e quando vede un bambino su di un prato crede che sia proprio Kal-El.
- Dopo due stagioni, riavremo finalmente una scena con Chloe e Lex insieme.
E' stato comunicato dal giornale People che ad interpretare Supergirl, la cugina di Kal-El, meglio conosciuto come Clark Kent, sarà l'attrice Laura Vandervoort, già vista in "Instant Star".
"E' una combinazione di bellezza, intelligenza, calore e carattere", ha detto Al Gough a People, che ha continuato dicendo:"Cercavamo un personaggio che rivoluzionasse le cose. Lei sarebbe anche la cugina di Clark Kent, ma non significa che sia allo stesso modo obbediente!"

Tom sta proprio cominciando a prendere le sembianze di Superman... gli mancia solo il proverbiale ciuffo.
Comunque in questa serie spero proprio che tra Lois e Clark nasca davvero qualcosa, perchè ormai siamo arrivati alla fine del telefilm xD

io credo che sia già assai sperare in un'ottava serie, oltre non vanno
e da quanto detto da erica durance in un'intervista: se clark e lois si metteranno insieme, smallville finirà, sarà la fine di smallville e l'inizio di superman, quindi in smallville non li vedremo mai come coppia (purtroppo)

Ieri invece ai Comic-Con è stata la volta di Smallville. Oltre agli autori, Alfred Gough e Miles Millar, Laura Vandervoort, Erica Durance, Justin Hartley e Phil Morris. Assente invece Michael Rosembaum a causa di problemi di salute.
Ai presenti, all'apertura della conferenza, sono state fatte vedere delle scene di Smallville dalle precedenti stagioni e alcune immagini in anteprima della nuova stagione: Lionel riesce a salvarsi in qualche modo; Kara vola per i cieli di Smallville circondata da una luce bianca; Chloe viene portata via in uno dei sacchi neri del coroner, per poi risvegliarsi nell'obitorio; Clark contro Bizarro; Kara al Daily Planet (o al Talon).
- Al Gough ha rivelato durante la manifestazione che Dean Cain participerà al quarto episodio della stagione, ma come un criminale e altra grande rivelazione, Green Arrow ritornerà a metà stagione per alcuni episodi, però Erica Durance ha detto durante la conferenza, che non necessariamente Lois sarà felice del suo ritorno.
- Cain interpreterà la parte di un dottore, che dovrebbe chiamarsi Curtis Knox. Lui ha l'abilità di curare la gente colpita dagli effetti della kryptonite, cambiando per sempre le loro vite e riabilitandoli. Quindi potrebbe in qualche modo c'entrare con Chloe. Ma non è detto che i suoi intenti sia sempre buoni e probabilmente nasconde qualche altro segreto.
Dr. Knox lavora con Lex Luthor, quindi avremo delle scene con entrambi gli attori e non si esclude un ritorno al livello 33.1
- Phill Morris tornerà anche lui per molti episodi della nuova stagione.
- Sul destino di Lana non si è detta parola, però Laura Vandervoort durante la conferenza ha detto "che non ha "ancora" lavorato con Kristin. Quell'"ancora" dovrebbe farci pensare che Lana non è morta?
- Batman non ci sarà neppure in questa stagione.
- il prossimo anno usciranno le nuove action figures di Smallville di Clark, Oliver Queen, Aquaman, Bart Allen, Cyborg e Bizarro.

7x04 Cure
Jimmy vende dei biglietti per un concerto ad un collega. Kara è al Daily Planet in cerca di Lois, che non è lì, perchè il nuovo editore l'ha mandata a "City of Angels" per lavorare a una storia.
Kara vuole guardare le foto di Lois, che dice di aver visto una navicella spaziale.
Jimmy la vede al Daily Planet e le sorride sperando che qualcosa possa succedere tra loro due. Prova ad avvicinarsi a lei, dicendole di essere anche lui un fan di ET. Più tardi però, Chloe li vede assieme e si sente ferita.
In una scena Lex e Knox si affrontano. Knox rivela a Lex che lui resiste a tutto (frecce, coltelli,...) e che una nove millimetri non gli fa paura. Knox avverte Lex che non l'avrebbe mai dovuto minacciare. Lex finisce in ospedale, incosciente. Clark va a trovarlo.

- la prima volta che Clark incontrerà sua cugina Kara, sarà durante un combattimento, che vedrà per prima protagoniste Lois e Kara. All'inizio Kara considererà Lois come una sorta di minaccia per sé e suo cugino, ma molto probabilmente (secondo i primi spoilers circolati) diventeranno grandi amiche.
- alla domanda "se Clark otterrà un lavoro al Daily Planet grazie a Lois", Erica Durance ha risposto che potrebbe anche andare così, ma per adesso non si sa ancora nulla.
- esiste una campagnia che vuole vedere morto il personaggio di Jimmy Olsen, per il momento non si sa quante volte il suo personaggio comparirà in Smallville e neppure se morirà.
- quando Kara si risveglierà e uscirà dall'acqua, potrebbe indossare pochi vestiti (la scena un pò ricorda Clark nella 4x01).

- ruguardo il già tanto pubblicizzato spin-off di Supergirl, Gough e Millar hanno detto che è la CW ha decidere e come per Supergirl, si era già parlato di uno spin-off per Aquaman, Green Arrow e persino uno sul personaggio di Lois Lane.
- Secondo la Durance la storia tra Lois e Oliver Queen è finita e non avrà un seguito quando il personaggio di Green Arrow farà ritorno questa stagione.
- Gough ha detto che in Smallville non vedremo mai Clark in costume da Superman.

In una recente intervista sul Newsday, l'attrice Helen Slater, che nel 1984 interpretò la parte di Supergirl nell'omonimo film, avrebbe rivelato di essere stata contatta dai produttori di Smallville per comparire nella serie come la zia di Supergirl (in Smallville), quindi o si tratta di Lara, la madre di Kal-El oppure c'è un'altra zia di cui non abbiamo mai sentito parlare fin'ora.

Secondo un fan canadese, Smallville girerà delle scene al Templeton, dove, nelle precedenti stagioni, era ambientato il set del liceo frequentato da Clark, Lana e Chloe.

Il cast di Smallville è in questi giorni impegnato a girare le scene nei pressi del Clova Cinema, meglio conosciuto nella serie come il locale del Talon. Visto che, secondo gli spoilers, Kara lavorerà al Talon, c'è da sperare che in questa serie rivedremo più di un vecchio set.
Sempre dal set: un fan è riuscito ad essere presente alle riprese di alcune scene con Tom Welling e la new entry Laura Vandervoort. Tom indossava la solita maglietta blu, mentre Laura un magliettina rossa con dei jeans blu scuro. I colori si ripetono.

L'arrivo di Kara a Smallville darà non poco fastidio ad un altro favorito della serie.
Sembra che si tratti di Martian Manhunter. Nessuno, però, conosce il motivo di questo odio fra i due, che si portano dietro dal passato e che avrà sicuramente un certo impatto sulla serie.
L'altra novità che i fan di Smallville vorrebbero sentire, riguarda il destino di Lana Lang.
Alcuni fan, senza aspettare che gli autori mettano le cose in chiaro sul destino del personaggio, si sono dati da fare per scoprire la verità.
I più fortunati che hanno avuto la possibilità di visitare il set del terzo episodio, giurano di aver letto il nome della Kreuk sul call sheet dell'episodio, ciò significa che la Kreuk comparirà nell'episodio. Il dubbio resta su come il suo personaggio tornerà e perchè: si tratterà di un ritorno sulla scena o di un flashback?

- uno dei personaggi di questo episodio è Ben, un assistente di produzione del film sul "Guerriero Angel". Ben vede Clark afferrare un proiettile diretto alla star del film e dice a Clark che deve usare i suoi poteri per il mondo. E' forse lui il fan che sta cercando di uccidere l'attrice che interpreta il personaggio femminile principale?
- Lionel viene tenuto in ostaggio in una cabina da una strana donna di nome Marilyn. Lionel cerca di fuggire, ma è colpito alla testa, mentre corre per la foresta. Scoprire chi è la persona che gli dà il colpo in testa, che è la stessa persona che sta pagando Marilyn, vi soprenderà. (Eccovi però un indizio: le sue iniziali sono L.L.). Lionel è salvato da Lex (quindi possiamo toglierlo dalla lista dei sospettati), sebbene Lionel lo accusi di stare dietro il suo rapimento. Prima che loro due riescano a scappare, Marilyn li punta contro la pistola. Quest'ultima però viene colpita alla testa da Lois, che stava inseguendo Lex.

Chi sarà mai questa persona? Le iniziali L.L. in Smallville diciamo che non sono rare: ci sarebbero Lionel Luthor, Lex Luthor, Lois Lane e Lana Lang. Lionel è il rapito, quindi... Lex è stato scagionato dallo stesso S.A.M., direi che si possa anche escludere Lois, visto che quest'ultima sarà impegnata a seguire Lex, ci rimane "la presunta defunta" Lana, a meno che non abbia dimenticato qualcuno.

tra parentesi ho messo le mie osservazioni :XD:
- un certo dottore, nel tentativo di rubare il suo potere, porterà Chloe a ???.
(il dottore è sicuramente quello interpretato da Dean Cain, che credo arriverà sul punto di uccidere Chloe per prenderle il potere)
- qualcosa che appartiene a Kara finirà nelle mani sbagliate, ma aiuterà a dare delle risposte per Clark. (si tratta della navicella con cui è arrivata Kara, che sembra sarà trovata da Lex)
- un vecchio nemico di Clark ritornerà, ma chi? ricordate la 33.1 di Lex, ma Zod e Lex erano i suoi più grandi nemici e Lex già l'abbiamo.
- i Clana avranno un'altra opportunità, ma non è questa la cosa importante. Ricordate, nella mitologia di Superman, Lana non scopre mai i poteri di Clark e non muore neppure. Jor-El può fare delle cose stupende anche dalla tomba. Lui vuole che Kal-El finisca presto il suo addestramento, quindi... Lana non è nel futuro di Superman, Lois lo è, ma non ancora per ora. Cancellare la memoria? E Pete? Lui non ha perso la memoria prima di andarsene quindi tecnicamente sa ancora.
(Lana torna, ma credo che la sua storia con Clark finirà prima della fine della settima stagione e Jor-El pulirà i ricordi di un pò di gente a Smallville, quindi c'è speranza che torni anche Pete... non so a voi, ma a me farebbe molto piacere)
- un personaggio muore o scompare. Non vi dirò però chi. (purtroppo credo che si tratti di Chloe. Sembra che gli autori vogliano ritornare alla mitologia con la storia della cancellazione della memoria e sappiamo bene che Chloe non è presente nel fumetto di Superman.
- Lois inizierà a vedere Clark in un nuova luce.
- a prima vista, Kara non amerà qualcuno particolarmente. Sente delle cose che Clark non riesce a sentire. E a qualcuno neppure lei piacerà.
Avrà un bacio con qualcuno (?????). Non c'è alcun bacio tra cugini.
(l'odio tra Kara e Lana, secondo gli spoilers precedenti, sarà reciproco... riguardo al bacio, credo che quei 5 punti interrogativi si riferiscano a Jimmy)
- ognuno avrà quello che vuole, ma quanto durerà? Smallville era stato creato per vedere il viaggio Clark per diventare Superman. Ma la serie è diventata più una soap opera (la penso anch'io così), attirando però anche non fan di superman. Quindi, come accontentare tutti? Semplicemente non si può. I fan della mitologia avranno quello che vogliono e ci saranno ancora delle scene sdolcinate per i più romantici.

In questi giorni Al Gough ha rilasciato diverse interviste, dove più o meno, ha confermato gli spoilers che già giravano da qualche settimana con qualcosina in più.
Ha confermano che Helen Slater interpreterà Lara, la madre di Kal-El e probabilmente comparirà più di una volta nella settima stagione, ma sempre in dei flashback.
Visto che per Smallville si avvicina la fine, anche se ci potrà essere un'ottava stagione (tutto dipenderà dagli ascolti), gli autori hanno deciso di chiudere diverse storyline sin da questa stagione, così dovremo dire addio a diversi personaggi. La prima è stata Martha Kent.
Lex diventerà ancora più cattivo. Al Gough dice che stanno cercando di convincere Michael Rosembaum di restare se ci sarà l'ottava ed ultima stagione.
Comunque all'inizio della settima stagione, Lex vivrà una sorta di esperienza religiosa che lo convincerà a rimettersi sulla retta via, ma non durerà per molto, Lex non è fatto per il bene.

Questo personaggio Kara, comincia a piacere ancor prima che il telefilm cominci. Nel fumetto Kara è la figlia di Zor-El, fratello minore di Jor-El. Ci sono varie versioni del fumetto di come Kara sia arrivata sulla Terra.
Una prima versione risale al 1959, in cui Kara arrivò sulla Terra dopo essere rimasta l'unica sopravvissuta all'esplosione della città di Argo, su Krypton. Essa fu inviata qui dai propri genitori per poter essere allevata da suo cugino, Kal-El per l'appunto, e a questa venne dato il costume identico a quello di Superman per far si che suo cugino potesse riconoscerla.
Anche Kara come Superman assunse una doppia identità e si fece chiamare Linda Lee.
Negli anni '80 però la DC cominciò la serie "Crisi delle terre infinite" in cui Supergirl/Kara morì salvando la vita di suo cugino...
Dopo sono state fornite altre 3 versioni di Kara/Supergirl.
In una venne definita una vita artificiale creata da Lex Luthor, in una versione del 1988.
Nel 2002 fu reintrodotta la SuperGirl originaria, ma con motivi diversi con la quale arrivò sulla Terra.
Nel 2004 nè fu introdotta un altra versione ancora dove assunse il nome di Supergirl solo molti numeri più tardi.

Smallville is expanding its superhero roster this winter. Executive producer Al Gough confirms for TVGuide.com that Black Canary will make her first appearance on the CW series in the Jan. 10 episode. Playing the role will be Canadian actress Alaina Huffman, who had a supporting role in Sci Fi Channel's Painkiller Jane. As comic fans know, where there's Black Canary, the Green Arrow can't be far behind. Indeed, the episode, titled "Siren," will feature the return of the Emerald Archer (played by popular guest star Justin Hartley), last seen in January heading off with his newly formed Justice League. In DC Comics lore, the two crimefighters have a long and complicated romantic history. But in a unique twist, Smallville will pit them against each other - at least initially. "When we meet her, she's a vigilante working for Lex Luthor," Gough says. The Justice League "has been keeping their eyes on Lex and trying to thwart him at every turn." Fed up, Lex "will say to Black Canary, if you can bring me the head of the Green Arrow, I'll make it very much worth your while." Like her comic-book counterpart, Smallville's version is a martial-arts expert whose superpower is a "canary cry" - a high-pitched scream that can shatter objects and take down opponents. And, yes, she will sport the fishnet stockings that are a trademark of the character's costume. So will romance eventually bloom between Green Arrow and Black Canary? Casting notices have gone out for "Alexander," which sounds like it will be a representation of Lex's younger self. Jimmy thinks this person's power is "cool," which makes Chloe question her decision not to tell him about her meteor-based ability. Erica Durance (Lois) does not appear in this episode. Lex tries to use this newly-supowerpowered person to his advantage. A character that fans have been wanting to see on Smallville for the past few seasons should be appearing in this one. Aaron Douglas of Battlestar Galactica fame has booked a guest role on Smallville, which we are assuming is the role of the previously-mentioned "Pierce." Douglas has actually appeared on Smallville before, in the first season episode "Obscura." Allison Mack and Kristin Kreuk have said in recent interviews that they'd gotten to work together again, and that there's an episode where they work with Laura Vandervoort and the three of them (Chloe, Lana, and Kara) have a sort of "girl power team up." Episode 7.15 - Veritas
Even though Clark and Lana have some bumps after the whole Bizarro thing, it sounds like they will still be in a relationship by season's end.
- Kristin Kreuk has implied in a CW interview that the season ends on a cliffhanger, should things end with episode #15. The big cliffhangers, and the episode itself, deal more with the mythology of the series than the romantic relationships. There's a lot of big stuff on the way though...

Dopo le voci sulla grande assenza di Michael Rosembaum in un'ipotetica (ormai certa) ottava stagione, adesso faremo bene a temere anche per l'assenza di un altro dei personaggi storici della serie, ovvero Chloe.
Sul blog (http://www.allisonmack.com/) di Allison Mack, l'attrice che ha interpretato questo ruolo per ben 7 anni, è comparso un nuovo intervento, tra le cui righe si può leggere l'intenzione dell'attrice di lasciare Smallville per intraprendere nuove strade.
Nell'intervento scrive che ormai fin'ora Smallville è sempre stato il suo unico punto di riferimento, ma proprio perchè non potrà esserlo in eterno, deve potersi dedicare ad altro. Inoltre il recente sciopero degli sceneggiatori, che non pare volersi concludere, aumenta le sue paure, visto che sin da Marzo si ritroverà in vancanza.
Come è giusto che sia, Allison deve pensare al suo futuro, quindi non ci resta che sperare che faccia la scelta più giusta e che le sia data la possibilità di restare ancora a Smallville.

Here is a recap of the remaining episodes for Season 7 of Smallville with a recap of some of the spoilers. Nothing new, but at least it is all in one post now.
Episode 7.10 - "Persona" - Airing 1/31/08
The real Clark (Tom Welling) will return at some point in this episode. The last we saw of him, he was frozen in a block of ice inside the Fortress of Solitude. As for Bizarro, he's going to continue to get along wonderfully with Lana and will also seek out Brainiac's help to ensure he can remain "Clark" forever. Chloe, ever the attentive one, will be the first to notice that something seems off with Clark.
Meanwhile, somebody will get shot and actually stay dead. It's most likely going to be Grant.
Episode 7.11 - "Siren" - Airing 2/7/08
The DC Comics character Black Canary makes her first Smallville appearance. She's the host of a conservative talk radio show, and when we first see her she's a vigilante working for Lex Luthor. There will be some sparks flying between the Canary and the Green Arrow after she attempts to capture him for Lex (Michael Rosenbaum).
Episode 7.12 - "Fracture" - Airing 2/14/08
Kara (Laura Vandervoort) is back, and yes, she still has amnesia. She goes by the name "Linda," which is a nod to the "Linda Lee Danvers" persona from the comic books.
This episode will be very Lex heavy, and may feature a trip through Lex's psyche similar to "Lexmas." He's also going to get shot, but don't worry, he'll survive.
Episode 7.13 - "Hero" - Airing 3/20/08
Pete Ross returns to Smallville for the first time since season 3, and this time he obtains stretching powers courtesy of meteor-laced chewing gum. Pete's not going to be a big fan of the changes that have occurred since he left town, including the fact that Chloe (Allison Mack), Lana, and Lionel all know Clark's secret. He's also not happy that Lionel Luthor (John Glover) is hanging out at the Kent's home.
Episode 7.14 - "Traveler" - Airing 3/27/07
Aaron Douglas (Battlestar Galactica) guest stars as Pierce, a crazy man who fears aliens so much that he kidnaps Clark and holds him in a specially built prison. This episode also features a girl power team up between Chloe, Lana (Kristin Kreuk), and Kara, who have to work together to rescue Clark.
The episode also features Patricia Swann, the daughter of Dr. Swann and a childhood friend of Lex's.
Episode 7.15 - "Veritas" - Airdate Unknown
Jane Seymour returns as Genevieve Teague in a flashback that also features Robert Queen, and younger versions of Jason Teague, Oliver Queen, and Patrcia Swann. Brainiac returns, Chloe and Jimmy work together on a story, and Chloe confronts Lionel about his true motivations. Though Clark and Lana had some relationship troubles due to the Bizarro incident, they'll still be together at season's end.
Episodes 14 and 15 should deal heavily with the mythology of the series, and "Veritas" will likely end with a huge cliffhanger that will keep fans on edge until the writers' strike is resolved.
Episode 7.10: Persona
Airdate: January 31, 2008
While Clark is frozen in the Fortress, Bizarro takes over his life with Lana. Unaware she is with Bizarro, Lana enjoys the "new Clark" and shares information she's gathered on a serial killer who is draining his victims of all trace minerals. The two conclude it must be Brainiac (guest star James Marsters) and Bizarro sets off to find him. Lex is stunned at Lionel's reaction after Grant (guest star Michael Cassidy) reveals he is a clone of Julian. Marc McClur, Jimmy Olsen from the Superman films, guest stars as Dax-Ur.
Episode 7.11: Siren
Airdate: February 7, 2008
While secretly working for Oliver (guest star Justin Hartley), Chloe intercepts one of Lex's project files, but she is attacked by the Black Canary (guest star Alaina Huffman), a mystery woman with a subsonic cry. Dinah Lance, Black Canary's alter ego, is a conservative talk show host who is working at the Daily Planet and clashes with Lois. Lex convinces the Black Canary that the Green Arrow and his team are terrorists so she launches an attack on the Green Arrow and Clark. Meanwhile, Lois discovers Oliver's secret. Kristin Kreuk, Aaron Ashmore, Laura Vandervoort and John Glover also star. Source: The CW

Michael Rosenbaum Interview
Superman fan Brett Bishop emailed the Superman Homepage to let us know that he managed to catch a quick word with Michael Rosenbaum (Lex Luthor) at the Sundance Film Festival a week ago, and asked him a few questions about Smallville and what the situation was with the writer's strike and Season 8.
Q: So what are you going to do with the show because of the writer's strike?
Michael: Oh, we have five episodes or so to go so...
Q: Well I heard this is your last season? Are you coming back since this season was so short or are you done?
Michael: (takes a second to think of how to word this.) Eh... We're getting close.
[His hesitation seriously made it sound like the series is coming to an end but that was my take and you can speculate what you will. Then I asked...]
Q: Will you do me a favor and tell Tom he has to wear the suit in the last episode of the series?
Michael: (laughs) I keep telling him that.
Q: And he keeps saying no?
Michael: (laughs) Yeah but we'll see.
Q: It's his obligation.
He just laughed and I thanked him for his time since he was heading into the party. He was really nice and was a great guy.

The new Smallville Magazine (with Clark and Lex on the cover or Black Canary is on the special edition cover ) has an interview with the actress who plays Black Canary. She gave some spoilers, and here they are:
-The opening scene has Black Canary fighting with Green Arrow, she leaps over him during the fight. Her "Canary Cry" causes his arrow to break, and Clark's ears to bleed.
-Dinah will wear a brunette wig, and the first time we see Dinah she's in an elevator with Lois. Her and Lois don't get along because Dinah's conservative and Lois's liberal.
-Lex tells Black Canary that Green Arrow is a terrorist who is breaking into LuthorCorp. Black Canary believes Lex, but is convinced by Clark that Green Arrow is a good guy. She feels duped by Lex, because she was lied to, and she just wanted to do the right thing. That's why she went after Green Arrow, she thought he was a terrorist.
-There will be sparks between Black Canary and Green Arrow. Toward the end of the episode, Green Arrow can't wait to introduce Black Canary to the Justice League.
-Black Canary gets into a fight with Clark, but when she lunges at him she just bounces off him. She doesn't understand why that is, the only thing that works against Clark is her canary cry,which causes his ears to bleed..

The February 7th episode of Smallville, "Siren," sees the return of Justin Hartley as Oliver Queen (aka Green Arrow) -- and along with him, a certain pretty bird calling herself Black Canary (played by Painkiller Jane's Alaina Huffman). We had an opportunity to speak with Smallville guru, Al Gough, about the appearance of the butt-kicking bird of prey, and what it entails to bring in new DC characters.
What's the overall process for bringing an established DC Comics character into the Smallville-verse? Does a call on the part of Warner Brothers trump a call on the part of DC, or vice versa?
It's our call, usually, if we want to bring somebody in, but then we have to make several calls to make sure we can actually do that -- and that call usually starts with Greg Novack at DC Comics. He's our point person there, and our advocate -- the one who gets us the permission to use these characters, whether it's the Justice League folks we used last year, Supergirl, and now Black Canary. Once we get the signoff from him, we're free to go about incorporating that character into the show.
Without spoiling too much of "Siren" away, how is Black Canary introduced into Smallville?
She's introduced, actually, working for the wrong side. She's actually doing something for Lex, which puts her in the crosshairs of Oliver Queen -- and more importantly, the Green Arrow. We wanted to show the first meeting between Black Canary and Green Arrow -- as we like to describe it, "cute and slightly violent." So that was the setup: if she comes in, it should be the first time she meets Green Arrow.
What similarities and differences will we see in the Smallville Black Canary vs. the DCU version?
I'll be honest with you, I'm not that familiar with her in the comics other than her basic information. She's got the "canary cry," she's got the fishnets, she kicks ass, and I think has a lot of attitude. I think she incorporates the basic tenets of the character from the comic, but I don't know where she stands in the continuity or anything like that at the moment, within the comics.
