Aaron Guerra: You're back on set of "One Tree Hill." What do you look forward to going back into a new season?

Lee Norris: I'm always excited to return to North Carolina, and to the cast and crew that I've grown to love. This season is more exciting than usual because they have done a time jump, which means that all of our characters are out of college and in their twenties. It's really reenergized my interest in the character and the show, and I think it will do the same for our fans.

Aaron Guerra: Would you like to go into a new direction to surprise the audiences with the character "Mouth"?

Lee Norris: It's always fun to try new things, and I'm hopeful that Mouth will grow up a little bit this year. I like playing Mouth with confidence in who he is, but sometimes that's tough to do when he continually gets his heart broken. This year we're going to see him more in the work environment and dealing with the challenges that brings a guy like him.

Nella prima domanda gli vien chiesto cosa si aspetta di rivedere nella 5 stagione. E Lee risponde di essere felice di tornare in North Carolina e ritrovare quel cast che ha imparato ad amare. Questa stagione, dice, sarà più eccitante per via del salto temporale, tutti avranno finito il college e avranno una ventina d'anni. L'interesse per il suo personaggio e lo show è aumentato ed è certo che sarà così anche per i fan.

Nella seconda domanda, gli vien chiesto se gli piacerebbe che il personaggio di Mouth cambiasse per soprendere il pubblico. E Lee dice che è bello provare cose nuove ed è fiducioso che possa accadere per il suo personaggio in questa stagione. E' bello interpretare quel personaggio, dice, ma è dura quando ha sempre il cuore spezzato. E poi rivela che in questa stagione lo vedremo interessato nell'ambito lavorativo e negli effetti che questo gli causa.

Ausiello: At some point in the season, Brooke will find herself in a red-carpet moment and in the press spotlight. I know this because they offered my TVG colleague Damian Holbrook the role of the entertainment reporter interviewing her. Sadly, he had to say nay due to scheduling conflicts. Clearly I was too big a name for them.

Just then, Jamie returns.

JAMIE: Bye, Uncle Lucas.

LUCAS: Bye, buddy. I love you.

Lucas gives Jamie a hug. Then...

JAMIE: I have to go home now. And anyway, you should be writing.

Lucas sags and Skills and the guys laugh, the not-so-subtle instigators.

EXT. RED CARPET EVENT - NEW YORK - NIGHT

Brooke is interviewed by Mark McGrath of Extra at another red carpet event. Lydia hovers nearby.

MARK: So we caught up with Brooke Davis, young hot designer of Clothes Over Bro's. Brooke, lemme ask you this: Because you make clothes for a living, do you still enjoy dressing up for things like this?

BROOKE: Absolutely. I mean, I imagine that people who work in the music industry still get a tingle when they go to see a live show and the house lights go down...

EXT. LOS ANGELES - NIGHT

Peyton walks home along Sunset Strip passing the rock clubs. She lingers at the corner, perusing a table of used books.

BROOKE: (V.O.) ...because it was probably their love of music that made them want to make a career of it.

Peyton locates a trade paperback and we angle on it: It's a dog-eared copy of Lucas' novel: "an unkindness of ravens."

BROOKE: (V.O.) Or people that write for a living, probably still love curling up with a good book...

INT. LUCAS' ROOM - NIGHT

Lucas eyes the blinking cursor. No words come.

BROOKE: (V.O.) ...even though they still have deadlines and the like.

EXT. READ CARPET EVENT - NEW YORK - NIGHT

BROOKE: Fashion is like that, for me. I still get chills when the house lights go down at a fashion show.

MARK: Good answer. OK, last question: Do you ever miss just being young?

BROOKE: I am young.

MARK: But acting young. You know, not being the boss of this huge corporation, but being Brooke Davis, 21 year old girl?

Brooke eyes him. It's as if he's touched a nerve. It comes out softly.

BROOKE: Sure, I miss it.

Then Lydia steps in.

un racconto e delle foto di unA ragazza

I saw filming late at night on the 8th. There was a bus stop with clothes over bros poster and a NY poster. The first scene shot was Brooke and new boyfriend coming out of a limo. Then later they filmed the limo dropping the new boy off and him looking mad and then calling a taxi. After that they went to the other side of the building where there was "The Storm" posters. Extras had to line up and yell brookes name and brooke walked a red carper then got into a limo. After that it was around 1 in the morning and they hosed down the street and did a scene of Peyton driving down the road. She was wearing the same dress as ive seen her wearing in pictures of peyton and lucus on the river court (the green one).

My friend and i extraed last monday and were in a scene with haley, lucas, and JLuke. It was in the studios and there were only like 4 other extras there because they just needed people to be in the tutor center. The little kid was sitting at a table drawing a picture and haley and lucas were whispering about whether lucas should take him for awhile because nathan is beginning to be a bad influence on him and he's incompetent at parenting right now. At first haley doesnt agree but after awhile it seems that she's starting to consider it. Joy looks like she's going to cry by the end of the scene.
After this scene we had lunch and then changed locations. a few other people showed up. They must have had a different call time.

Another scene we did was of Haley and Lucas going home when the school day was over. There were only like 10 or 15 extras. We were walking under that like underpass thing outside of the school that says Whitey Durham Fieldhouse and they were talking about how Lucas had spoken to Brooke that morning on the phone. Chad was smiling. We couldn't really hear anything else but we think that Brooke had been in town for a few days and wanted to see Lucas again. The little kid was walking with them holding Haley's hand. Once they reached the parking lot it looked like Haley was talking to JLuke and eventually he got into Lucas' car.

PEYTON: (reading the flyer) "No Means Yes."

HALEY: I've never heard of them.

Peyton eyes the band, wheels turning.

PEYTON: They're not signed.

HALEY: You can tell just by looking at them?

Peyton nods.

PEYTON: Four years in LA at least gave me that.

And as they continue to watch the band play.

EXT. HUGE RIVER HOUSE - EARLY EVENING

Brooke stands inside a beautiful home. The woman who owns the house has just given Brooke a tour.

WOMAN: Well, what do you think?

BROOKE: I like the house. Love the furniture. Especially the coffee table.

WOMAN: We found it in Greece two summers ago.

Brooke nods. She has seen and heard enough.

BROOKE: I want it.

WOMAN: You want the coffee table?

BROOKE: I want all of it. The house, the furniture. And if you can be gone in an hour, I'll throw in an extra 100 thousand.

The woman eyes Brooke a moment, then picks up her cat.

WOMAN: Enjoy your new house.

The woman exits the room, then suddenly realizes.

WOMAN: Wait. You didn't want my cat, did you?

BROOKE: No. Keep your cat.

The woman smiles appreciatively, then...

WOMAN: There's a roast in the oven.

BROOKE: I like roast.

As the woman leaves...

EXT. RIVER COURT - EARLY EVENING

Haley approaches the River Court and finds Quentin shooting alone. Quentin looks up and sees her coming.

QUENTIN: You must be lost.

HALEY: Trust me, I've spent more time on this court than you ever will.

Quentin takes a shot.

HALEY: I want you to come back to school.

QUENTIN: There ain't nothing left for me there.

HALEY: (correcting him) "Isn't anything." And anyway, there's more to life than basketball. You need to graduate.

Quentin considers that a beat.

QUENTIN: What's it matter to you? Unless maybe you're hot for me, Mrs. James-Scott.

Brooke simply grins at Peyton.

PEYTON: Brooke, what were you thinking?

BROOKE: You don't like it?

PEYTON: I think it's incredible.

BROOKE: Good. 'Cause your room's downstairs.

PEYTON: Oh my God...

Just then, Peyton gets a text message. She eyes it, then...

PEYTON: I gotta run to Tric. But we'll celebrate when I get back. Okay?

BROOKE: Okay.

As Peyton exits...

INT. PRISON - NIGHT

Dan is in his cell. A prison guard hands him an envelope.

GUARD: Your son left this for you earlier.

Dan opens the envelope and pulls out a photograph of Jamie. As Dan smiles at the image of his grandson, we find...

EXT. NATHAN AND HALEY'S HOUSE - NIGHT

...Jamie, dribbling a basketball. He takes a shot and misses, but Nathan (on crutches) passes the ball back to him. As the two of them laugh, dribble, and shoot the ball, we find Haley, watching them from the deck. She smile, finally remembering what it was like to be happy. She could watch them forever.

INT. TRIC - PEYTON'S OFFICE - NIGHT

Peyton is sitting at her desk when Jason, the lead singer of the band ("No Means Yes"), enters. He eyes Peyton.

MIA: No. I mean... I don't know. I never said that.

PEYTON: Then what is enough? When you think about your career, what do you want from it?

MIA: I don't know.

PEYTON: Money? Fame?

MIA: I want to help someone. You know? I want to reach that girl or that boy who wakes up one day and feels like it's not worth it anymore.

PEYTON: Because you've been that person?

MIA: Maybe.

PEYTON: Yeah, me too. And you know what saved me?

MIA: Music. Right? It's like... I don't need to be famous. And I don't need all the money in the world. It's not about that.

PEYTON: What is it about?

MIA: It's about that girl who's having a horrible day, and she hears your song, and for five minutes, there's hoe. Ya know? It's about writing a song that she puts on a mix because it says something she really needs to know or hear or believe. It's not about getting on the radio or soundscan numbers, or any of that. It's about taking words and a melody and reaching that person who was about to give up. And they hear your song, and suddenly, the world isn't such a scary place.

Mia eyes Peyton and finds a small, fractured smile.

MIA: If I can do that, then I'll know I've done something. And I've been someone.

Peyton nods, pleased.

MIA: You asked me what it's about? What's gonna be enough? That'll be enough. That'll be more than enough.

INT. TRIC - NIGHT

Mia finishes playing a song. She eyes Peyton hopefully.

MIA: Whattaya think?

PEYTON: It's good.

MIA: It sucks, doesn't it?

PEYTON: No. It was good. It's just --

MIA: -- It's just that it sucks. And you know why? Because I suck. I shouldn't even be here.

PEYTON: Mia.

Mia starts packing her things, freaking out a bit.

MIA: No. Ya know, the thing is: I'm OK with it. I mean it's better that I realize that I'm a horrible failure now instead of wasting everyone's time and money and finding it out, I don't know, on stage at Madison Square Garden.

PEYTON: OK, first of all, how great would it be to play Madison Square Garden?

Mia brightens momentarily.

MIA: It would be, huh?

Then she remembers her rant.

MIA: But it doesn't matter because I suck.

PEYTON: That's not what you know who said.

In an instant, Mia becomes a blushing teenage girl.

MIA: What'd he say?

PEYTON: I don't know...

MIA: Ohmygod, you tell me what he said right now, Peyton.

PEYTON: Someone thinks you're pretty...

MIA: Did he say that!?

Peyton shrugs coyly. Mia processes this, then recovers and composes herself, trying to be cool. Suddenly, it's not so bad. She finds a small smile.

MIA: You want me to play the song again?

JASON: Look, I'm kinda tired. So if this is just fan club crap...

PEYTON: ...No, it's not that. (proudly) I own a record label, and I'd love to sign you.

Jason stares blankly at Peyton.

JASON: Why should we sign with you?

PEYTON: Well, you're good, but the problem is, nobody knows who you are. I counted maybe ten people in here tonight. You deserve better. You guys have a special sound, and I'd like to help you get it out there.

JASON: Who else do you have?

PEYTON: What do you mean?

JASON: Bands. What other talent do you have signed to your label?

PEYTON: Well, as of right now, I don't have anyone. Not yet. But I'd like you to be my first.

JASON: That's what my ex-girlfriend told me on Prom night. She was a lying bitch.

Peyton nods, suddenly wanting this nightmare to end.

JASON: We're gonna pass. But good luck "finding your first." I'm sure it'll be everything you dreamed of.

As Jason exits, we stay on Peyton as she notices the Lucky Bamboo sitting on her desk. She picks it up.

PEYTON: Lucky Bamboo...

She slams the Lucky Bamboo into the trash as we...

I think its supposed to be the night before the race when they show jackson the car, the "red racer", and they ask him if he wants to try it, but he shakes his head, so they just push it down the hill and it crashes

Lucas is writing at his computer when Lindsey walks in. She hesitates before speaking. She says that she has been putting on a brave face for weeks now, but she has to ask him something. Scene with Haley, Peyton, and Jason.
Haley says (to Peyton) that it’s fine. She tells Jason she didn’t mean to “creatively step on” him, but she has some experience. Jason snickers that she has experience playing a church organ. Peyton’s had enough. She tells Jason that Haley’s actually had a major record deal, a billboard hit, and a sold-out national tour. She says that he, on the other hand, is the lead singer of a band that plays in dives for free beer. Peyton says, yeah, he could benefit from Haley’s experience. Jason says whatever, that he’s taking a smoking break, and storms off. Peyton says that they only have the studio for another hour, but he’s already gone. PH exchange looks.

Mouth/tech guy
Blah blah blah, Mouth whines, see: S1,2,3,4

Haley/Peyton again
Peyton and Haley walk from the studio. Peyton apologizes about Jason, but Haley says it’s okay, and she’s worked with self-centered musicians before. Chris Keller ring a bell? Peyton says, only his own. Haley says that if Peyton’s open to it, she’d love to work with them. Peyton asks, like produce the album? She thought Haley was busy. Haley says she was, but with Carrie working out great, she’s had time to think, and you know what? (Direction calls for Haley to start out slow, but to get worked up.) Scene doesn't end, but no more pages. Boo.

As of right now, the only thing sounding truly good to me is Haley, But really, it could be any other season at this point. Brooke, miss popularity (except now it's business not at school) but who is really misunderstood. Brooke/Peyton living together. Peyton struggling but being true to herself. Nathan pushing people away. Random extras that force an eye roll. A repeat L/P storyline except Lindsay is Brooke. Lucas reassuring Lindsay. Declaring his love.

It just seems so blatant where this is all heading so what is to look foward to?

We will have Nathan come to his senses. Haley of course will forgive him again because that's what she does best.

Lucas will break Lindseys heart. He will also likely save the smart mouthed kid along the way.

Brooke will be bitchy to random people, fall in love (or into bed) with some random guy and still be 'insecure' underneath it all.:mha:

Peyton will want Lucas back after years of not wanting him, because being his friend while seeing him with somebody else will make her realize her feelings.:wub:

It's just all been done. 4 years later and these characters will not really have grown at all. How unfortunate and what a waste of a great opportunity.

Summary of 5.03 sides:

Scene 25: Haley and Peyton are discussing bands. Peyton tells her that "No Means Yes" has not been signed yet. Haley wants to know how she knows that information by just looking at them. Peyton replies that her time in LA has paid off.

Scene 26: Setting is "River House" early evening. The owner is showing Brooke this humongous house. Brooke admires the furniture and everything about it. She states that she wants the house. The woman is surprised. Brooke says that she will throw in an extra 100,000 if she can be gone in an hour. The woman picks up her cat and says, "Enjoy your house." Then she stops and asks, 'Did you want the cat too?" Brooke says no. The woman smiles and says that there is a roast in the oven. Brooke says that she likes roast.

Scene 27: Rivercourt, early evening. Haley approaches Quentin who is shooting baskets alone. He asks if she is lost, but she tells him that she has spent more time there than he has. Quentin uses the word "ain't" and Haley corrects his grammar. Quentin doesn't want to go back to school, and Haley tells him that there is more to life than just basketball. He looks at her, and wonders why she wants him back at school. He jokes that maybe Mrs. James-Scott is hot for him. After his comment, she walks away disappointed.

Scene 28- Tric. Peyton's office. Night.
"No Means Yes" has already finished playing. Jason is in Peyton's office. She offers to sign him to her record label. He is incredulous and wants to know how many other bands she has signed, and she has to tell him that she hasn't signed any others. He declines the offer. Peyton takes the Lucky Bamboo plant from her desk and slams it into her trash can. (End of Act III)

Scene 38: Brooke's new house. Brooke is showing Peyton around the spacious home. Brooke asks Peyton if she likes it. Peyton is amazed, and Brooke says that's good because there is a room downstairs for her. Peyton is stunned. Just then, she gets a text message and says she has to hurry to Tric, and they'll celebrate when she gets back.

Scene 39: Dan's jail cell. A guard approaches him and hands him something that he states is from Dan's son. Dan opens the envelope and smiles when he sees a photo of his grandson, Jamie.

Scene 40: N/H's home. Night. Jamie dribbles and shoots but misses, Nathan is there on crutches. Nathan passes the ball back to his son and the two laugh and play together. Haley is beaming as she watches from the deck. She remembers what it was like to be happy. She could watch them forever.

Scene 41- Tric. Night.
Jason, who is the lead singer from "No Means Yes" enters and eyes Peyton.
Jason has returned to state that he and his band have decided to give Peyton and her label a chance. He hopes that she won't let them down, and she declares that she won't. She smiles and takes the plant out of the trash and places it back on her desk.

Scene 42- Lucas's house. Night.
Lucas is writing at his computer when Lindsey walks in. She hesitates before speaking. First she says that she has been putting on a brave face for weeks now, but she has ask him something. She wants to know if she should be worried now that his two gorgeous exes are back in town. He wraps his arms around her and tells her that he loves her and that will never change. He tells her that she has nothing to worry about. As they hug, it is evident that Lindsey is relieved.

Scene 43- Brooke's house. Dawn. Patio/deck.

Brooke and Peyton have been talking all night. There is an empty bottle of wine next to them. Peyton asks, "What if Lucas's Lindsey brought you a Lucky Bamboo because she was marking her territory with you also."

Mark Schwahn: We’re thrilled to have him- he was a great fit for us. This role is tailor made for him. It’s still very early in his acting career and he’s doing really well. Hilarie Burton ran lines with him and Kevin came very prepared. The climate on set has been great.

Us: Given all the media attention Kevin has received, has he surprised you?
MS: I have lived under a rock for five years making the show. I had a cursory knowledge of Kevin - I saw the Super Bowl commercial and knew who he was married to. People know a more bombastic version of him, but he seemed very humble and sweet to me - hardworking and well-intentioned. He’s been pretty fearless in the face of [media scrutiny].

Us: How many episodes has Kevin committed to?
MS: Two, but it’s open-ended. We have along history of being soap-esque and serialized—of having characters go away and then return. It won’t be based on fan reaction. If we have stories to tell for his character and the dates line up, he’ll come back.

Us: What did you think of the attention you got by casting him?
MS: I wasn’t nervous - I was surprised by it. [On the show], we’re comfortable creatively. We have this unprecedented idea of jumping ahead four years [in terms of character development]. Buddy TV recently posted an article listing reasons fans should give Kevin Federline a chance with his upcoming role on One Tree Hill.

Chad Michael Murray: Kevin Federline's a 'Nice Guy'

The jury is out on his custody battle, but the verdict is in on Kevin Federline's guest spot on One Tree Hill: He's actually a nice guy.

"He was very kind and cordial with the whole crew," Chad Michael Murray told PEOPLE Thursday night on set in Wilmington, North Carolina, where Federline began filming last week. "I think that he enjoyed it here, and I know he's coming back again. We're all looking forward to it."

Although the two didn't share a scene together, Murray said Federline was a pleasant addition to the team, and even helped celebrate Murray's 26th birthday.

"We had a big celebration," said Murray. "He was a nice guy ... He talked to everybody."

Federline arrived Thursday for the shoot on Friday, after which he joined the One Tree Hill cast and crew at Sin Sin Lounge for the birthday party. He stayed past last call, chatting with party-goers and playing Ms. Pac-Man downstairs, according to a bartender.

Federline's character is a "cocky, enigmatic frontman" for a rock band, but a crew member told PEOPLE he was quite the opposite when the cameras stopped rolling.

"He was the nicest guy ever," said an assistant who was on set when Federline filmed. "He was so professional and polite to everyone. He was way different than I expected."

Federline's character also appears in the next sequential episode of the CW series and he will be back in North Carolina to film that in the coming weeks.

The work will be helpful for the slacker-turned-actor who, according to documents released Thursday, "has no net income after business expenses."

About Quentin: He was pretty tall (especially compared to Joy), African American, and very very cute! He seemed very nice too. I wanted to meet him just because that'd be so cool but I don't think he thought any fans wanted to since no one's seen him on the show yet so he didn't come over. He ran over to talk to Paul real quick when he was near us though and he seemed very nice.

Quentin was really cute and really tall. I can't believe he is supposed to be playing a high school student though...he looked much older than that! He was very good at basketball too...even during the rehearsals he was making pretty much every shot

Earlier it was reported a BLP scene was shot at the RC but it wasn’t a BLP scene that was filmed. It was Peyton and Brooke in a shot then Brooke leaves. Peyton is alone then Lucas comes up and says something to Peyton, she says, "It would have never worked out" and Lucas walks off.

The scene (BP and LP) is a scene that takes place two years ago and it's a flashback scene. Earlier that day Chad and Sophia did a scene at Karen’s Café. But they weren't on camera at the same time. They did one shot of Sophia then on Chad.

Flashback scenes from Nathan/Lucas's college days:

Scene 10-Lucas asks Whitey what he's going to do now that he's retired and he says he'll probably go to the basketball games and yell at the coach. Lucas smiles at that and they walk off.

Scene 11-In the Locker Rooms: Nathan's being interviewed by a reporter as he changes back into his clothes. The reporter comments about how the scouts will probably take notice and Nathan says he's just happy to be playing the game and that this year taught him that the most important thing is his family. Lucas approaches and tells Nathan that the bus is leaving. As they walk out, Nathan tells him that that was the first time he wasn't asked about the point shaving.

Scene 12-When they exit the stadium, Jamie and Haley are waiting for them. Haley tells Nathan he can ride with the team, she just wanted to say goodbye. They kiss and Nathan tells Jamie to "get some sleep kiddo" and he'll see him at home. As Lucas and Nathan make their way through the crowd to the bus, a fan calls out to Nathan that he has a cute kid and he wonders if he'll grow up to be a cheater like his old man. Nathan ad Lucas both try to ignore him, but the guy keeps pushing him. In a flash, Nathan gets him by the throat and threatens to shave the guys face into the pavement. Lucas wraps himself around Nathan and drags him onto the bus as Whitey stares from a distance, troubled.

Scene 13-On the bus, Lucas is sitting alone slumped alone in his seat. He checks his iPhone messages and he has one from Peyton saying "play this song when you win the championship." As the song plays, he begins to smile.

side for co-worker:

Scene 16- LA record company. Morning. Peyton is making copies when a co-worker tells her that she has a phone call. Lucas is shown on the phone walking in a hallway. Peyton is excited and says that she saw highlights of the game and she was wanting to call him all morning. He asks her what she is wearing, and she (embarrassed) says that she can't do that right now because she is at work. He guesses that she is wearing her Ramones tee over the white long-sleeved shirt with the torn jeans. She looks down at herself and is amazed to see that he is exactly right. She's like, "Wow, you are good" and right after she makes that statement, she looks up and Lucas is standing right there in the flesh. Her eyes go wide with surprise.

Scene 19

Lucas is waiting for Peyton to show up at the restaurant. He's wearing a suit and a tie, no Peyton in sight. He plays with his spoon as the waitress asked him if he wants another basket of bread. He said she'll be here in a minute. Peyton arrives still in her work clothes. Lucas BRIGHTENS (yes they're capped like that) when he sees her. Peyton apologizes. She eyed him and said "look at you." Its been a while since she saw someone in a suit that isn't a lawyer or an agent or a successful novelist. Lucas said he doesn't know about that, he gets a rejection letter everyday. Peyton tells him that his book is good. It will happen. She knows it.

Ticket agent scene: 5.05, scene 23-27

Scene is in LAX airport, during the day. Lucas is dealing with the ticket agent. He tells the ticket agent that he needs to go back a little earlier than he expected. The TA tells him he’ll see what he can do.

Scene cuts to Peyton, waking up in the hotel room. She scans the room, then calls out for Lucas. She see’s the CD sitting next to her on the pillow. It says everything.

Back to LAX and Lucas. His cell phone rings, and it introduces Lindsey. Lindsey is sitting at her desk, and she introduces herself as Lindsey Strauss, a junior editor from Putnam and Pratt. She read Luke’s novel. He says it was nice of her to call, that everyone else sends their rejection letters nowadays. Lindsey says she actually loved it, and passed it on to her boss, and he feels the same way. There’s a pause, so she says, “Hello?” Lucas is stunned, but says he’s still here. Lindsey says that what she’s saying is that they want to publish Lucas’ book. How soon can he be in New York? Lucas is trying to process all of this. He says he’ll figure something out, and that he looks forward to meeting her, too. He turns back to the Ticket Agent, and tells him he needs to go to New York. They’re publishing his novel. The TA says congratulations; that must be a dream. Lucas nods and navigates his phone to Peyton’s number. He pauses, but then decides not to call her.

Scene 29

New York party. Night. It's a huge party to celebrate Lucas's book. The senior editor corners Lucas and excitedly tells him that Dan being a convicted murderer is exactly what they need for a great "hook" for the market and the readers. Lucas obviously looks uncomfortable. Lindsey sees him and she steers him away to get a drink. The senior editor also wants to change the title of Luke's book. Lucas is confused, but Lindsey says that always happens. Lucas states that Lindsey is too young to be an editor, and she replies that he is pretty young to have a book published.

Continuation of scene 29

Lindsey asks Lucas if the "Luke and Peyton" from his novel...Lucas says that they didn't. Lindsey seems disappointed and states sincerely that she was rooting for them. She leaves. An assistant approaches Lucas and tells him that someone from Tree Hill is here to see him. It's Brooke. They hug, happy to see each other. Lucas tells her that he is glad that she came. She says that she wouldn't miss the chance to spend a night on the town with a best selling author.

Scene 30

Brooke's upscale apartment. Brooke tells Lucas that her mom moved out to NY a while ago since her dad travels so much. Brooke thinks they should just have a trial separation.

Bartender/BL scene: Ep 5.05, scene 31

Brooke and Lucas are sitting in a crowded bar. Brooke asks if he saw the look on her face? She says you’d think someone spewed on her Jimmy Choo’s. Lucas says he’s glad she’s enjoying this. Brooke says, come on, he and Peyton are going to work things out. Luke says he doesn’t think so. Not this time. She says it sounds like he gave her an ultimatum, and trust her, there’s no better way to paralyze a girl. Lucas asks Brooke how many times she’s talked to Peyton since she left LA. This touches a raw spot for Brooke. She says it’s not Peyton’s fault. They’re both busy. Lucas responds, and today she broke up with her boyfriend. Has she even called you? Brooke doesn’t answer, and Lucas shakes his head. He continues and says things have changed. Brooke insists he’s just saying that because he’s hurt, and she gets it. But Brooke doesn’t think he meant any of it. There’s a long pause, and Lucas stares at the floor. Brooke continues and says, you know what? We should get drunk. Really, really drunk. Then she asks to see the ring again. Lucas hands her the ring, and the bartender takes notice. He says, congratulations! The crowd applauds, and BL try to protest, but the bartender continues with champagne on the house. >There’s more applause, and Brooke/Lucas exchange a look- why not? Brooke puts the ring on and puts on her best smile as champagne flows freely.
