Mika sbarca nella serie televisiva ''Ugly Betty''. Non lo farà in veste di attore, ma con una versione speciale del single ''Big girl (You are beautiful)'', realizzata appositamente per il film del network americano ABC che da noi va in onda su Italia Uno.
Interpellato su questa inattesa collaborazione, Mika ha dichiarato: ''E' un vero simbolo dello stile, non dovremmo celebrare nessun altrotranne lei e chi come Betty cerca di conservare una propria identità''.
Sempre Mika ha poi confessato di essere un vero fan della serie per il piccolo schermo. Per quanto riguarda il brano, le modifiche si limitano ad una sorta di dedica. ''Big Girl'' diventa così ''Hey Betty, you are beautiful'', proprio in onore della protagonista Betty Suarez.
