Sono state annunciate ieri le nominations della 34esima edizione dei Saturn Awards, i premi assegnati dalla Academy of Science Fiction and Horror Films alle migliori produzioni di fantascienza, fantasy e horror, relativamente a film, film TV e home video dell’ultimo anno. Nella categoria cinematografica hanno spopolato "300" e "Harry Potter e l’ordine della Fenice" mentre per quanto riguarda la televisione è "Lost" a portarsi a casa il maggior numero di nominations con la candidatura a migliore serie, le nominations di Matthew Fox e Evangeline Lily come migliori protagonisti, Michael Emerson, Josh Holloway, Terry O'Quinn e Elizabeth Mitchell come miglior supporto nonché per l’edizione DVD della terza stagione. Seguono “Dexter” con 5 nominations e “Heroes” con 4. Sul fronte internazionale, ancora una volta è la Gran Bretagna ad aggiudicarsi tutte le nominations, con le sue "Doctor Who", "Life On Mars" eccetera eccetera.
La cerimonia di premiazione avverrà il prossimo 24 giugno.
