sarà la storia di due spie, marito e moglie, che tornano dalla pensione a lavorare per la CIA e scoprono cose di sé stessi e del coniuge che credevano sepolte da tempo, fra cui anche la passione per l’altro (!). A collaborare con Abrams, che come al solito si occuperà della supervisione, sarà Bryan Burk, fedelissimo di JJ già in Lost e nel film Star Trek; inoltre alla produzione collaborerà anche Josh Reims di Dirty Sexy Money. Mentre le produzioni sopra sono tutte ad opera degli Studi Universal (leggi “NBC”), questa serie sarà prodotta dalla Warner Bros. in collaborazione con l’immancabile Bad Robot di Abrams.

Carter MacIntyre joins cast
Carter MacIntyre has joined the cast of J.J. Abrams' NBC drama pilot "Undercovers."
"Undercovers," from Warner Bros. TV, revolves around Steven (Boris Kodjoe) and Samantha (Gugu Mbatha-Raw), a husband and wife who are re-activated as CIA agents after years of retirement.
MacIntyre, repped by Henderson Hogan and Magnolia, will play a CIA agent with a drinking problem who goes "missing" while trailing a Russian arms dealer.
In addition to Kodjoe and Mbatha-Raw, MacIntyle joins previously cast Gerald McRaney, Jessica Parker Kennedy and Ben Schwartz.
Abrams co-wrote "Undercovers" with Josh Reims. Abrams also is on board to direct, marking the first pilot he has helmed since "Lost" in 2004.
