On spending so much time with her 5-year-old son James Wilke: “I put him to bed every night. I get him dressed. I’m the one who gives him his toothbrush. I take him to school every morning. He’s very small, but his personality is 6 feet 4. I’m spending the whole summer with him out at our beach house.”
On being the stricter parent (her husband is Matthew Broderick): “Does it surprise anybody that I would be? It’s not that Matthew spoils him, but he just has a different way of parenting than I do. I was never spoiled. Oh, dear no. I was the baby of the family only for a wee time, and I was lucky to get any attention, let alone be spoiled. A few years ago, I found all our baby books. My two older brothers’ baby books were filled with pictures. Then we found mine, and it only had my name written in it. There was nothing else in there. Not one picture. So there you have it. I’ve been starved for attention ever since.”

SJP was recently asked whose idea it was to cast Jennifer Hudson. She said, “Michael Patrick King. I had wanted him to include an African-American [character on the show] for a long time, because I recognized that African-American women would legitimately say, ‘Why aren’t there enough women of color [on the show]?’ And I would say, ‘I agree. It hasn’t really reflected New York.’ And Michael was always [insisting] that you can’t do token [parts]; you can’t just throw someone in there because it’s necessary. You have to find something real or it’s even worse than not getting somebody. So he wrote this part, and he said he wanted Jennifer Hudson. And I was like, ‘Sure, get in line! Everyone wants Jennifer Hudson.’ And then she came in and read, which I couldn’t believe. And she was lovely. She’s beautiful in person. She’s gorgeous. Kim Cattrall (Samantha Jones) on holding out to make the movie: Four years ago I was going through a painful public divorce, the series was coming to an end, and my father was diagnosed with dementia. I felt it was time to be with my real family. A year-and-a-half ago, when I was sent the script, I was ready and strong enough to revisit Samantha. In some ways, I’m glad we waited. The script and the experience of making the movie was the best possible reunion.
Producer Darren Star on the gals of SATC: “These were women who were objectifying men. And it was sort of jarring. Men aren’t used to hearing themselves depersonalized and referred to as Mr. This or Mr. That. I think if you had a show with that sort of locker-room talk from a bunch of guys talking about women, it would be a little ‘yuck.’”

io ho cominciato a vederlo grazie alle repliche di La7, e devo dire che non mi dispiace, forse un po' spinto in alcuni punti, ma tutto sommato gradevole e divertente!!

riporto a galla sto topic :XD: allora...io ho sempre voluto vederlo e non ho mai potuto perchè a mio fratello non piace sta roba e quindi per la tv comandava lui :XD: a quei tempi poi,non usavo il computer e quindi .... :XD: dopo aver visto il film tempo fa,ho capito che non potevo più aspettare.
