Question: I know I am weeks late on who should play Chuck’s mom on Chuck, but without a doubt it should be Sela Ward! —Kat
Ausiello: Is there a question in there, Kat? No. Fine, then. Let’s ask Zachary Levi who he thinks should play his mom. “I honestly have no idea,” he says, but “I’m excited to see who it winds up being. A lot of people have brought up Lynda Carter — Wonder Woman — which fits into the whole sci-fi/fantasy geek thing our show has going on.” Even better, the actor thinks the erstwhile Diana Prince looks like his TV sis “Sarah Lancaster. Two beautiful brunettes.” Unfortunately, EP Josh Schwartz pretty much ruled Carter out when he told me, “[Lynda's] an icon as an actress and is someone who fits the show’s universe…but not necessarily for this role.”

Ausiello: “Dolph Lundgren plays Marko,” explains Chuck co-creator Chris Fedak. “Is he Russian? Yes. Is he a terrifying bad guy? Yes. Will he say, ‘I must break you’? You’ll have to wait for the return of Chuck.” I’m counting the days! Now, what about Stanton? “Harry will play Harry Dean, the man who comes between Chuck and his search for Mom. Who is he exactly? Well, we’ll say this: Only Harry Dean Stanton could play this part.” Okay, now I’m counting the minutes!

What is at the heart of the season? "It's all about family this season," executive producer Chris Fedak told TVGuide.com backstage. "The fun of the season is the search for mom. Chuck has this mission from his father: He has to find his mother. That is the heart of this season."

Will Chuck still have secrets? Though Ellie (Sarah Lancaster) asked Chuck to quit being a spy, the hunt for his mother will keep him in that world. "We go back to Chuck keeping a secret from Ellie when she's asking him to retire and be safe," said Lancaster. "So I look forward to that dynamic again this year."

Who has a mini-Awesome bun in the oven? "We're looking to expand our family," Lancaster revealed backstage of Ellie and Awesome (Ryan McPartlin). "There might be a little bun in the oven, which will be good because it will raise the stakes." Fedak confirmed the impending arrival of the baby who he said "will rule the world."

Who will replace The Ring? "We have a new big bad this year," Fedak said. "The big bad is a really important part of the story. Essentially we're going after one person the entire season, which is a little different than what we've done in the past."

Lou Ferrigno to Guest Star on Chuck

Chuck has signed another big name to guest star on an episode this fall.

And when we say big name, we mean that literally!

Former Incredible Hulk actor Lou Ferrigno will portray a bodyguard on the show's September 27 installment. He'll be in charge of protecting an evil spy/model played by Karolina Kurkova

Other recent show casting news includes the additions of Olivia Munn, Linda Hamilton and Stacy Keibler.

MICKEY: It's no accident that producers have shown us that Casey's daughter has some serious combat skills. "It's a spy show, so I think she's going to be on some missions," reports Adam Baldwin, who plays Alex's proud papa.
